Sony Ericsson Z500

Can anyone answer these questions for me.
How good is this phones screen? Some say its bette than the t616 but it has a cstn which is not that good.
40 chord ringtones. I have an x427 which also has 40 chords and the polyphonic rings have a glass sound to them. Do these sound like that or do they have that rich sound found in previous SE phones.
How fast is the internet?
Has anyone had a chance to stream anything?
How is the camera(on both screens)?

I was just wondering what color the keypad LED's are. I wanted to recommend this phone to my sister-in-law and she is partial to blue. Thanks, Amy

Can you record music on you phone and use them as ringers?

I understand that SE didn't include BT on this phone in order to keep end user costs low, but I wish they would release a similar phone with the addition of bluetooth. IMO, BT is such a valuable feature that I wouldn't mind spending the additional $50-$100 for it. I think the Z500 is an incredible phone, it's just missing that one crucial aspect. I spent too much $$$ on a SE bluetooth hands-free car kit to have it go to waste by purchasing this phone. Please SE, give us this phone with bluetooth. What are your opinions on this matter?

Hi everyone, I'm a long time viewer, first time poster. I contacted SE to ask why I could not view or open my text messages from the external display EVEN THOUGH THE MANUAL SAYS THIS IS POSSIBLE. They have told me that this was a printing error and the phone will not be able to do this particular feature. They also told me that there are only 3 camera functions instead of 4. They said they will re-write the manual as soon as possible. Thanks!

The manual mentions to avoid holding the phone at the antenna-which is in the hinge since it will reduce power. Unfortunately the indentations are perfect for fingers. Has placing fingers lower on the phone been a problem for any one? Merry Christmas and seasons greetings. Thanks.

Has anyone found any cases or holsters for the z500?

Does the Wallpapers Animated on the background like it doe's on the demo on the sony ericsson website, and if it doe's doe's it animate as smoothly as they showed it. And i'm talkin about the wallpaper not the Screensaver.

I need to know the setting for MSN so I can use my email.

Here ya go, if you need cases, faceplates, holsters, data cables, handsfree ear piece, etc. these are the only websites you need: discountcell.com, yourwirelesssource.com and cellgear.com. Returned the phone to Cingular for a refund. Think I'll stick to my OLD Motorola 60G.....This Z500 was beautiful but what a pain! Since I only use a cell phone as a "PHONE", I just have no use for all the fun stuff I suppose. Sure will miss those beautiful Ringers though. The pictures to them were neat too but getting a phone to operate as a PHONE is my first priority. DARN! Mike 😢

When using the z500 while in calls, there is a constant high pitched sound. After exchanging the phone for another z500...the exact same thing occurs. The call quality of this phone should be considered.

I am currently a T-mobile customer in Boston,MA. Not the greatest reception but not terrible. My question is, should I stick with T-Mobile and get the Samsung e-715 and sign a 1 year contract or should I switch to Cingular and get the Sony Ericsson z500a (2 year contract)? I am nervous about Cingular due to the terrible reviews I have found online... thanks!!

I want to buy a GSM flip phone that has both a decent camera AND bluetooth. This is proving to be harder than I thought. Unfortunately I can't wait because I broke my current Cingular phone and desperately need a new one. I was looking at Moto's MPx220 but it's a little expensive and just too much phone for me. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

Had this phone for 3 days now. I have a continual problem with voice dialing. I speak the name, I hear my voice "recording", then it FAILS to dial. I go through this maybe 5-10 times EVERY time before it then DIALS my number! Pissing me off big-time. Anyone else having this happen? I also make sure there is NO background noise. Thing that puzzles me most is it repeats the name of my choice back ever time, BUT, FAILS to "DIAL"......

I just got my phone and i love it. But my parents are on at&t and that is a cingular phone. Luckily it is unlocked. But, The one problem that i am having is connecting to the internet.They said that it is because im using an at&t sim card. Please, if anyone has a solution to this problem or instructions on how to fix this problem while keeping my att sim card i would really love the help.

I am researching the Z500 and the Mot MPX220. For me the issue are 1) battery life, 2) speakerphone clarity, and 3) voice dialing. Can owners of the Z500 comment on each of the three?

What are the talk/standby times?
What type of usage for the above (i.e. heavy calls, txt msg, surfing, etc..)?
How clear is the speaker phone?
How accurate is the voice dialing?
How many "slots" for voice dialing?
