silent all - help
how do I operate a silent all on this phone? On vx4400 I press the side key and able to do a vibrate and silent all.

"Manner Mode" can be activated in several ways:
1. With the flip closed, push the side key with down arrow for a few seconds.
2. With the flip open, push the * key for a few seconds.
To deactivate the Manner Mode, repeat the process.

Thanks for the response but the silent all doesn't work.
I tried this before , when the flip closed, push the side key above the driving mode key and the result is manner mode(vibrate) no silent all.
Same result when the flip is open, push the * key for few seconds.

As DlovesKTM instructed, those steps result in Manner Mode.
Manner Mode (I use this mode exclusively): Key tones are silent, Ring is set to vibrate.
Don't know another definition for silent all, except for the phone being turned off.

I know exactly what ssquest's talking about since I have a 4400. In the 4400, if you push the side key and hold it for a few seconds, it will go from normal (with sound), manner (vibrate), or silent all (with a handset and a line cover over symbol). The 6100 only has normal and manner. I haven't been able to find it in the menu. I like the option on the 6100 better since I seem to always accidentally set my phone to silent all when I had my 4400. In fact, the 3200 did the same thing. I don't like it since I seemed to have a habit of setting it to silent all without knowing it, and missed numerous calls because of it.

Thank you LGbeliever. I didn't explain my problem clearly. I saw it somewhere where to make the phone silent all (without sound) but I couldn't find that link.

not sure if youve discovered how to, but on my 4600 i open up the phone to main menu, then turn down the volume all the way down, to silent. (side buttons turns down volume) hopefully the same for 6100.

Also try pressing and holding the star button. Not sure if that works but it did on the 4400.
