LG VX-6100

Just checked and my order has been processed, so I should have my 6100 around Monday. The last order took 2 days to arrive.

I ordered my VX6100 this morning off the web site. Now, the VX6100 is no longer listed on the web site.

Those of us who did order it, still have are orders valid (according to another thread), but ETA is unknown. ☹️

If somebody has the opportunity to check out these 2 things, i would really appreciate it:

1) Does it have Vibration mode (BESIDES manner mode) as in the 6000, or not as in the 4500/4600?

2) The photo of the front LCD shows both, the time and date at the same time. Will it eventually be like that? or not, as the 4600 which had both on the photos, but just one at a time in real world phones?

If the answer is positive for both of the 2 questions, I'll trade in my 4600 NOW!

If not, LG! Please release a 6200 with everything available! (he he...)

I am going to get one of these 2, and was wondering which was a better phone? I have been very happy with lg in the past, but I have heard very good things about samsung. 😳

I just got off the phone with VZW Internet order support and they gave me tracking numbers for the three 6100's I ordered. I had them confirm that these are really 6100's and the order states that they are. I then checked the FedEx site and they really did ship and are due here by 430pm Thursday. I'll update more tomorrow.

I thought the phone wasn't being released until the 25th?? 😳 there is already a review up and ppl are saying its been shipped! but the phone isn't on the verizon site still so I am really confused lol

Can you force analog mode on the 6100? You can on the V710.

I don't know if this has already been posted...but which one would you folks prefer? My NE2 is this Sunday, and I was looking at both of these phones...both being tri-mode, both being camera phones (minus the video on the 6100 which isn't a biggie)...so which one is better? All I'm looking for is a good solid phone with tri-mode/camera/loud ringtone capabilities.

It appears that the 6100 has a "barrel" style charging port on the bottom... the same size and specs as on the LG vx3200...

The data connection on the bottom (which you can also apply charge power through) is the same as the 3200/7000/8000...

Hello all,

Just wanted to let you know that the vx6100 is on the Verizon Site here in the Seattle area (98122). I just ordered three 6100's online and all the orders processed fine. When I called the local VZW stores and VZW customer service none of them had any stock or available date, so online looks like the best bet for now.

Just got a callback from VZW Internet Support Desk. The phone HAS NOT lauched yet. They weren't sure if the posting on the VZW web site was in error or not. So, no one will be receiving it. I'm sure people who "ordered" it will be receiving an email soon saying they won't be getting it right away.

Hopefully,the real release should happen later this week or early next

I went to a verizon store in north carolina this weekend and asked about this phone. The guy that was working hadn't even heard of it. After calling some guy at the tech center for verizon phones, the guy said that the phone had been approved as of last week, and he thought the phone would come out quicker than some other phones-- his guess was in a month. Just thought I would let you guys know! 😁

Any speculation on the release date of this phone or any concrete dates?
