😕 I lost my phone and was wandering if I can put my service on my own phone?

Anyone knows how to unlock this phone for use with Cingular or T-Mobile. If anyone knows please let me know!!!

I have a question about my Samsung e317 - it has a service light on the front that blinks every few seconds, is there a way to have it blink ONLY when you've missed a call or text? As it is it blinks all day & night but if I turn it off in settings it doesn't blink when you miss something.
Also there is a blue GP icon on the screen, what does that mean and can I remove it??

Someone please help! I use to have the samsung s307 and now I just got the e317 and I cannot figure out how to get the service light to flash when I have a text or a new voicemail. My old phone would blink when I had a new txt and a new message and I've heard that the e317 does the same. I can't remember the settings to have the message light blink. Someone please help!

This might have been already answered.. but when you get a text message or missed a call, why does the light always blink blue? or is it just set that way and can you change it?

HELP! I got the E317 from Samsung and we just got a new phone but what my wife wants is all the 50+ images to be downloaded to keep them before she gives the phone to a friend. How is that possible to do quickly? HELP PLEASE!!!

people that have verizon get free tones..does ny1 know how to get free ringtones if u have a cingular cell or a 317..i hate payin for sucky tones

Are there any major differences between the 316 & 317?

The E-317 was discontinued. There is something wrong with this phone so Cingular will send you a P207 for the replacement if you do an exchange by mail. Since the phone is covered under a one year manufacturer warranty. If you are having any sorts of problems with the E317 I recommend you take advantage of this and get the P207.

I ahve used this software to unlock several e317 but know I am having problems. It always fails to unlock and a message saying "ft_ErrorManage" keeps appearing. Any comments, info, etc. that could help? Any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I recently bought the data cable for this phone and was very pleased with the fact that transferring the pictures over to my computer was so easy, yet i can't seem to find a way to get the video's over, can anyone help?????

It seems when I get a new voicemail on my E317, the little indicator symbol on the screen illuminates to alert me to the new message...however, after I've listened to the message & even after I've deleted the message...the stupid little symbol stays ON my phone! It's sooo annoying! I've tried powering the phone off and then back on, but that doesn't work. It seems it takes DAYS to disappear. 👿

How do I get rid of it? Does anyone else have this problem? It's quite aggravating, because I never know if I have new messages, or if the stupid light is just still on from the LAST message I received.

when you're at the main menu where where aim and icq and the future 1 and 2 chat things are available.. whats the cingular wireless chat option for exactly? i have no idea exactly.. what i use to log in to those.. i've tried and can't seem to get past the login screen.. oh and the book doesnt help me at all. so.. suggestions anyone?

does anyone know where to get free downloadable software for use with the data cable.

so i created my own ringtone (converting to .mmf) but when i try to access the internet site from my phone it says server error. i think the hosts dont accept these files. anyone know of a free hosting website that accepts these files? i tried yahoo briefcase amd 3g upload and they both have problems downloading it to my phone. any help is appreciated.

What is the different between this 2 phones?
