How is the new PTT service?
It is really nice I have had it for almost 1 month and it is great I would say it is faster than Nextel.

its not as fast as nextels but its more consistant than nextel will ever be,and its pretty da- fast!!! and the LG signal doesnt go up and down also!! overall its 10 times better than nextels 😲

So what is the story verizon fans. How is the NEW LG PTT PHONE? I think it looks pretty good. How is the service ? I plan on picking one up next month. I figure I will give it a couple of weeks to see how it works out. Word is that if it doesn't work this time VERIZON is going to scrap the whole PTT. Lets hope not. So fans whats the 411.......

I have the Phone and it is really nice I had the V60P which my wife uses now. I like the Lg great recepetion, connection time is like 1second easy to use. Speaker phone is really nice. I like you can use the PTT with the flip open or closed. Battery life is awesome.

The service is great. We have noticed a 2 second initial connection, and 1 second volley times.

Service is awesome. Extremely fast and the 4700 works great. I can make ptt calls where i couldnt make a normal call before with any phone. I love it so much i got 3 additional lines for my buddies!

Nextel Sucks!! Coverage area is terrible. They were so bad they had to merge with some other company or be chewed up and spit out. If all you drive is the interstate nextel might work get off that path and you have no service. I did a comparison at the Nextel store and how fast there top of the line phone the rep had and compared to my old V60p. Hers was slower to connect and this was an in store connect with another employee. They were surprised that VZW was that fast. Crack no you must be to think Nextel is the Best thing since sliced bread they are old school these days.

I've had the phone for about a week now. The service is great. I don't know how the 1st Gen PTT phones were but this 2nd Gen is great. Connect time is about 1 to 1.5 seconds +/- . I think verizon is on the right track now. Good job Verizon................
