BlackBerry 7100 / 7105

I'm trying to decide whether to buy this phone or the Samsung D307. I was wondering how charges are incurred when checking e-mail. Since I have AOL, does it check/foawrd the mail for free or does it charge me per KB. Thanks

My son just bought this phone from T-Mobile. I noticed it has a very loose battery cover. I told him something must be wrong, and advised him to take it back. When he did, the person at the store told him they are all like that. I find that hard to believe. Is that so? Do they all have very loose, wobbly battery covers?

I am looking for a phone that I can use to check my email messeges on my works Lotus Notes. I hate Lotus Notes, but am forced to use it. If this does not work, any other phones that you people know that might work with Notes???

We have just bought new BlackBerry's for myself and my husband and I was wondering what the reception is like down there if anyone can help please let me know.

I called Cingular today and asked them if I had my own device and I wanted to establish new service, would I be obligated to sign a two-year agreement and they said, "no". Having said, typically one would activate a Cingular branded device by taking it into the retail store and they would not have any issues, right?

However, I would like to establish new Cingular service AND activate an unlocked TMobile Blackberry 7100T on their network. Are they going to allow me to do this in the retail store? Also, I will need a Cingular SIM card. Will they provide that when I activate the device? My main issue is that I don't wish to be locked into a two-year agreement or I would just go ahead and purchase the newly released Blackberry 7100g fo...

I have T-Mobile and am looking for a way to check my hotmail account with my 7105. Is there an application out there that can be downloaded? Hotmail doesn't seem to support a webclient on the wireless web. Has anyone figured this out?

Does anyone know how to do a master reset? I need to clear everything from the phone and reset all settings to original like it was new out of the box.

I just got my 7100g a couple of days ago from ATT Wireless (Cingular). I am unable to pair with a BT headset. Tried Jabra 250 and Moto HS820. I am able to connect any other BT devices. I connected to an iPAQ H5455 and two Nokia phones. Just can't seem to pair with a BT headset. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance!

Please advise. Which phone is better? Is it really annoying to have a phone and just use blackberry for data? Work in real estate, dont absolutely need to respond to emails right away...

Also, which is better Cingular or T_Mobil?
I live in New York City are, and have heard mixed reviews.

This is probably ridiculously simple, but if anyone can help me, I will be forever grateful.

I just got my 7100t and it can send email just fine. I still can't receive it. I went to the mail setup and entered my user name and password and according to the instructions I found, it should then ask me what kind of account I have, but it doesn't work. Maybe there's some setting on my pc I need to fix? If anyone knows, please give me some idea. Thanks.

I am trying to figure out what type of WAP is on the Blackberry 7100t. I need to download "Top Producer" and it is only possible if it is not the WAP 2.0 Any input would be much appreciated! :-)

Anyone have a problem with the phone picking up too much background noise? Anyone got a solution? Granted I live in NYC, the noise capital of the world, but my verizon phone is crystal clear when the buses go by, while all I get is complaints from the other end of the line with this phone on cingular. It is fine when i am indooors!!!

I have a Jabra freespeak 250 paired with my 7100g. At home where I have a wireless phone system I get a great deal of static. I understand that.

But in my car which has no other bluetooth I also have terrible static.

Any suggestions?

Any other bluetooth headsets that are working well for folks with a 7100g?

Does any one use their 7100 in Salt Lake City, LA, San Fran or Vegas through TMobile?

What are your thoughts?

Anyone know when the phone is coming out on Verizon. I tried the phone with Cingular. Loved the phone, hated the service. Had all sorts of sound issues. (See my other threads). Back to my Verizon service which works great, but missing the BB service, and hate talking on the old BB's. Been waiting for the treo 650 to come out, but would rather stick to BB than wait for my corporate IT to set up GoodLink. Any one have any knowledge of timing for a Verizon version or even if they are working on one???

does anyone have any experience with a program called time matters which has a perfect sync to outlook and palm?
also does the bluetooth work in land rover automobiles???

Does anyone have experince syncing with Outlook's Business Contact Manager Software?

What are your thoughts / experiences?

I am working with a clients 7100t and I need to know if there is a way to erase the address book without reseting the phone itself. If someone could please let me know I would appreciate it.
