OS
When will they make this phone with a microsoft OS? I know that they won't make this one but I would really like this phone if it had Microsoft. I know its not an improvement but I NEED it.
Is this going to be on Sprint?
Anyone know if Sprint will carry this phone?
Looking for an alternative to the Treo 650 which is a little tempermental to say the least...

CMOS Camera??
Someone on Howard Forums posted earlier that this phone will have a CCD camera lens like the lg 8000 does, but it says here it has a CMOS like the 8100. Does anyone know which one it will be? Looks like an awesome phone either way...

Finally!
This is the kind of phone that I have been waiting for! I so tired of regular flip phones, because anytime I get a call I have to open the phone and close the phone, which got old after a short time. I have a MM-7400 with Sprint right now, but I have been thinking about switching to Verizon for their V-cast capabilities. But I was looking at Verizon's site the other day at their phones and what do ya know--they're all flip phones! But now I see this one and I like it. I do like the clamshell style of this phone, though, because you only open it when you want to use the other cool options, but when you get a call, you don't have to open it all of the time. And it has a hi-res screen, which is always good, even though it could be a little bigg...

Very Nice LG!
i really like this phone. it reminds me of the Motorola A630. even thought this phone has more goodies on it that the A630. The A630 was a POS though. i had that phone for less than 6 months before i got a mulitple exchange done on it b/c i had some many problems with it. too bad this phone is not a GSM phone. i would most definetly get it if they made a GSM version of it.

Business Card Scanner
How exactly does the business card scanner work? I've never seen one before. How many cards can you typically store? This phone looks freakin sweet! I was really excited about the RAZR coming to Verizon, but I think I might like this a lot better.

DUN Profile?!?!?
Rich, this thing is EVDO/VCAST enabled... how do you suppose Verizon is going to let Bluetooth DUN slip by un-crippled?

Wait...PPC?
Under the Platform/OS, it says this phone has Windows Mobile for Pocket PC. Is this really a PPC? If it is, it's just another phone Verizon has that Sprint doesn't. ๐ข

Verizon
I have currently have the Audiovox 6600 which is a smartphone and runs a windows OS. It is a great phon eas far as features but it takes me several clicks to do simple things and in my mind defeats the purpose of what a cell phone was originally meant for. I can't wait for the 9800 to come out with Verizon as I will buy it right away. Does anyone have any idea when this will come out on Verizon, i can't wait to get out of my 6600. Thanks.

This phone is Moto's next big thing. (Smartphone)
I think we need to be a little patient. Between the A630 and this phone, we finally see a form factor that can support a full QWERTY keyboard yet stay small enough to be a legit phone. While a PPC OS is prbably too much to ask for in a phone this small, I expect to see Palm or a Windows Mobile (WIndows for Smartphones) in a year. I give the edge to the Wondows Mobile OS because they don't need touch screens to function, and so far the form factor for these phones have a screen that is WAY to small to be fiddling with a stylus.
With the MPX getting scrubbed, I betcha this is what Motorola is working on. They need a smartphone to replace the MPX 220 (which was never sold in stores) and the make everyone forget the Greatest Phone That Never W...
