Samsung SCH-A950
problem w/ camera on 950??
when I move it around quickly, it becomes "choppy" and slow and it takes awhile to refocus. like the frames become very choppy. my friend has a year old LG(forgot what model, but its really small, and looks cheap) and his doesnt go choppy at all when he moves it around quickly. i have the resolution set on 640 x 240(or whatever it is) and i never zoom in. so is there something wrong w/ my phone? i got the a-950 a week ago, but i didnt notice this last week...

Gave up my RAZR V3C for this..
The Battery life seems very good..
The screen is great..
The phone is huge.. Seems bigger tahn it is.
The VZW case makes it 2X the size as it's all padded out..
Anyone find a great case for this yet ?
Best buy has the samsung case but it does not even fit, it's for the 920/950 and the 920 is a smidge thinner and fits the 950 with the wheel is too big.
I need something I can slip into the pocket when going out. The Razr is freaking too clunky , yes its slim but big too.
I need my A670 to have Bluetooth and speaker and life woudl be grand , RIGHT ?
Anyone of any small phones with Bluetooth coming out with Speakerphone ?

My Flix internal phone memory
Something keeps migrating into the internal phone memory under the "My Flix" catagory even though I have no flix stored on the phone memory(only the card). Anybody know why it does this or how to erase it? It curently has 762 kb's in there.

Camera auto save - what does it do?
I got the phone a while ago and discovered the 'auto save' option a few days ago in the camera controls. I set it to 'on'. Last night I took an amazing picture but then closed the lid of the camera, thinking it would be saved. It wasn't. What does 'autosave' actually do?
I cant send myself pictures
i took a picture, then went to "pixmsg" and i put my email addy, and it didnt work. i sent a regular text msg to my email, and that worked. wtf is going on?? it keeps on saying, "send pic again?" and i keep on trying but it doesnt work

Phone gets very hot
I just got my Samsung A950 today and was using the Vcast feature and browsing through Get it now. I noticed that the phone got extremely warm (almost hot to the touch) but cooled down very quickly when I stopped using those services. Anyone else experience this??

SCH-a950 Battery Life Tests
If anyone has some extra time, we should test the time that the battery lasts (or time it takes to drop a bar) under certain circumstances.
All we really have from Samsung are idle and talk time. I am currently testing how long the phone can play mp3's straight. People might also be interested in the difference in battery life when the phone is switched to CDMA-only mode, watching videos, connected to the net, different volumes, etc.
I am testing basically under the default settings, does this sound like a good idea? If anyone would like to help test, please chip in, it would be a good asset to the community!

IF YOU TEXT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE
I've talked to both verizon and samsung on this subject. there is no way to add words to this phones directory. it uses "word" instead of "t9 word" i guess its samsungs horrible version of t9.

both verizon and samsung declinded to tell me if there will be an update to add this option to the phone. so in other words thier most likely not gonna do anything about it.
trading this phone back to verizon in exchange for a lg 8100. the 8100 uses a mini sd card (more used) than the trans flash card thats used in the 950.

Is the phone worth to use over $200 headphone as for MP3 to get the best quality?
I currently have cheap headphone, would I able to tell the difference by using very expensive headphone like for Ipod. Or is there limit to this phone as for sound quality?

Jabra headphone calls on one ear only?
I just got an a950 and the Jabra stereo headphones. I have not tried any mp3's yet, as I am waiting for my flash card to arrive, but when trying the phone with headphones on calls, only my right earpiece is working. Is this normal? I know the headphones are OK, as both ears work with other sources.
ringtones
I know that on the E815 your sounds can "apply as ringtone"...can you do that on the A950? because if you cant than pretty much the only thing left is GIN...im not the kinda person that uses BITPIM or w/e...so the whole ringtone thing might suck for me if i end up getting the A950 âšī¸ ...one more question...are the stereo speakers loud? can they be heard very easily? thanks anybody's help who replys đ

Bluetooth headsets
Hi, I just got this phone yesterday and was wondering which Bluetooth headset to get. I really like Jabra BT800 and Sony Ericsson HBH-662. Anybody try these or know if they work well with this phone. All help is very much appreciated. thanks

HAVING DIFFERENT PHONE RINGS FOR VARIOUS PEOPLE
Is there a way to make my phone play different rings for different people when they call. I had the V60 (don't laugh) for a very long time; and it was able to do that. Does this phone allow you to do something like that?
