Samsung SCH-A950

Hello all! I'm a new user of the sch a950 and I'm wondering if you can read text messages from the outside display? If so, how do you set it up on your phone??? Thanks y'all!!! 😉

Is it better to recharge battery frequenly or wait until batter dies or recharge when battery has only one bar?

Ok, need some help! When I use BT on this phone w/ my car the first time (when I first connect it) it works fine. The next time I get into my car it says BT is connected but it isn't working properly. I've reset my phone, I've deleted it off my BT menu in my car, nothing. Have to restart everything, every time. Anyone else having this problem???

How good is the sound quality for this headphone? What happens when someone calls while listening to your mp3? Do you need to unplug the headphone and open the phone to talk?

Is any one else having problems keeping their transflash card in their phone? I got it to stay yesterday, but now I have to hold in the cover or else it says no card available. ANyone else having this problem?

I bought this phone for MP3, but I can't seem to find the right headphone for this. Did you guys use converter or just the regular headset for phones. I don't want phone's regular headset because it only has one ear bud. I would appreciate it if you can tell me where to find or get the headphone that has TWO ear buds.

Ok maybe i'm stupid, and or missing something real easy...

BUT i tried to enter a screenname to log onto mobile IM, and my SN contains an _ and i CANNOT find _ anywhere in the symbols when entering text for the SN & password.

Anyone know if i'm doing something haneously wrong or if _ just isn't one of the symbols Samsung put into this phone? I had an old LG (i just upgraded to the a950 on fri) and i had my SN in on that no problems......

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the ringtones that I make using MP4/M4a tech for my Sanyo MM-9000(Sprint), would be compatible with Verizon phones, and if so.. Which ones??

Does anyone know if any faceplates to change the color of the phone are available, or will be available anytime soon, or ever?

Does anyone have a good solution for reducing the amount of air bubbles in the plastic screen covers on leather mobile phone cases? I have a Samsung SCH-a950 and the screen bubbles are annoying.

Too much to sift through in the threads, but anyone have an ETA on when bitpim will support this phone? I won't get this phone unless I can load my own stuff onto it. I refuse to pay for any GIN stuff... 😡

I just got this phone and want to make sure I don't have a bad one. When the phone is closed I can move the front of the back from left to right a bit, like it's a little loose. Is this happening to anyone else?

it seems that some people on here have the opposite problem i do. can anyone tell me if the external lcd screen (a950) can be set to be blank until you press a button? i want a picture to be on it, but not visible at every second. i have my backlight set to 5seconds but when it shuts off, a bright picture is still on that front lcd. is that just the way the phone is? it practically has my whole room bright while im trying to sleep...

does the "service led" blink differently if you have a missed call/voice mail/text mssg. waiting? if not, is there anyway to make it?

I read that there will be a 1gb transflash card coming out, but will it be compatible with this phone. does the 560mb work with this phone?
