Samsung SCH-A850

So my mom really likes her "Melody 5" ringtone, but as the phone stopped holding a charge after 2 years, we got her a new phone. Is there any way I can send that ringtone to her new phone or are the ringtones available online somewhere? any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Is there a keylock on the A850 phone? I lost my manual, and have been trying to figure out how to turn on a keylock for days. If anybody knows how to use this function, I would really appreciate it.

hdy i'm having issues with my phone right now. The phone was dropped in coffee a while ago and was turning off occasionally. so i took it apart to clean it and now when i put it back together the lcd and ear speaker dont work (like it cant get to the top part of the flip thing) and i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. maybe if you could find me a diagram to help me get it back together right. i looked on google and could only find reviews of the phone.

Does anyone know how to erase the entire contact list at once? Or do you have to erase them one by one?

I just recently got this phone and it's fine for my use; contrary to other reviews I haven't had a problem with reception or voice quality.

Normally I have short conversations but today I had a 40 minute phone call and about halfway into it I noticed the phone started to get warm. By the end of the conversation it was pretty hot. After closing the phone and allowing it to sit it cooled off fairly quickly.

Anybody else had a problem like this? Is it just a defective battery or is there a problem in general with this phone and the battery?

i have a motorola v710..anyone have any sugesstions on what new phone to get? i am having the typical problems with the v710..i was thinking about the samsung a850. can you send ringtones to that phone? because on my v710 i can either, send ringtones via bluetooth,e-mail, or data cable? someone let me know how or if they have any sugesstions on what phone to choose

😳 I love my phone and all that it has to offer for my first phone, but the camera has given me more problems than any other thing the phone offers. I want to zoom in on things some times, but my zoom won't always work, is there a trick to getting it to work each and every time I use it? Please Help!!!!

After taking pictures to the memories limit, whenever I try to access the camera it gives me the message:

Photo Gallery
Full!
Delete Some Pix.

But the problem is, I cant even access the gallery because it won't let me go to the camera, so I can't delete any pictures. I tried deteling, inbox, sent, my messages, some records to clear some memory but that didnt work. I also tried to delete photos by entering the gallery when sending a PIX message, but that function isnt there.

Anyone know how to access the camera in this situation?

I accidently put 2 of the same pic but different sizes, in my pix gallery, can one of them be removed? I haven't found an option yet to do so........

i recorded an audio file on the phone and i wanted to set it as a ringtone but it's not under the default ringtones menu and when i go to the get new menu i cant access options to make it a ringtone. thnx in advanced for the help.

when creating a txt message, while in any alpha mode (aba, Abc, ABC), you can't enter the numeral 1. you can enter every other number, including 0, by simply pressing the corresponding alpha key enough times to scroll through the other alpha choices. but not so for the 1 key. to get a one you have to go into numeric (123) mode.

this seems so ridiculous to me. my girlfriend and i recently both got this phone. i transferred over from cingular, she upgraded from her previous verizon phone. she says she was unable to do this on her previous verizon phone. to enter a "1" in a text message she has to enter 123 mode.

are we just missing something? on my old cingular nokia phone i simply had to push the 1 button a number of ...

Here's my problem. I bought 4 phones on the family plan, and they work great for the rest of the family. I however work for the railroad. My signal will go bye-bye very quick. It will go from 3 bars to zip instantly. I work with co-workers, also on Verizon who keep signals all the way up the road. Is this phone known for weak signal reception? Are there any fixxes? Or, are there any suggestions for phones, on Verizon, That are better recievers? Also, I don't like the user interface, poor icons, poor contrast, etc.

Hey guys...sorry to sound like a newbie at this phone stuff...but, I just got a camera phone (samsung Sch-a850) and I was wondering how to zoom? I started the camera up and pressed right and left...but, no zoom. Pressing up and down changed my contrast but I can't get my zoom to work. Any help...please.
