When?
Does anyone know when this one will be released?My a670 is ready to go 😢 and I really don't need all the extras like the Moto E815.I think this one might be a nice upgrade. 🙂

The a850 is supposed to replace the a670 as it eventually sells out. The a670 is on its final legs.

Huh? I'll give you the no vid capture, but its only a very small amount bigger (and only in thickness), and the monochrome front display saves power/improves battery life (an area where the 850 outdoes the 670).
I'd be willing to give this phone a chance, if the Nokia 6256i keeps dragging ass on its release. I've had nothing but good experience with my current Samsung, a 530, this feels like a successor to it, much more than the somewhat ghetto no-front-display 650 did.

Oh, and I almost forgot... this has a speakerphone, the 670 doesn't. Which more than makes up for the 670's better screen.
I do wish Samsung would stop using STN screens 'cept on their very cheapest phones. But I'll take a speakerphone over a pretty screen any day.

Don't forget there is also the a950 that is suppossed to be coming out around the same time as the a970. The a950 is pretty much the Samsung version of the 8100.

I'll definitely check out the 950 when it comes out... already saw some pics of it at Howard Forums.
It may be more phone than I need, though. But I also have no doubts that it'll do the 8100 one better. Samsung usually seems to have the quality edge over LG for some reason.
