Motorola RAZR V3c

Why cell phone batteries don't come in a reusable case/carrier is beyond me, and if someone sells them, I haven't found any. Yesterday, I found just what I was looking for though! At the gas station I bought these new mints...Wrigley Doublemint Twins. The container they come in is a perfect fit for the Razr battery. Just eat your mints, or give them to me, rip off the label and you have a clear plastic carrier for your spare battery. For the geometrically challenged types, don't try to stuff the battery in the hole you poured the mints out of! It won't work!! Yank on the entire top...it'll come off. Anyway, it's nice to be able to put a battery in my pocket without the worry of keys and loose change destroying the contacts or causing unneces...

would anyone buy a gently used v3c, verizon UI OBEX enabled with a BT jabra 350 headset for $300 on ebay?

Is there any way to fix the echo? Every time I talk I hear myself do I have a broken phone or is this normal, I remember seeing something about echo here but don't remember what the out come was....

Oh and how come my outer pic is so out of frame? It is fine on my inner screen but it is 2 the right on the outer..

I just purchased a Razr V3c from Verizon on Saturday and I am slightly confused by all of the posting here. One person says do this and blah blah can work, another says this can't, but can with xxx revision, etc.

Am I able, with the Verizon Razr V3c, to connect it to a PC and transfer files such as ringtones, pics, wallpapers, etc.?

I had the scala 500 headset and was not completely satisfied with it and purchased the H500. I really liked it, small, fit my ear very well, and had good sound. Called Moto to find out how to transfer call from the headset to the phone, which is not explained in the documentation. I was told that the H500 is not completely compatable with the Verizon CDMA Moto Razr V3c. News to me! They said that I would eventually have problems if I kept using it. I have not checked online so I don't know if this has already been reported. They are replacing it, for free, with the HS850 headset. This headset costs more, but has the boom mike on it, which I don't know if I will like, but I am going to give it a try. I could send the H500 back to Ama...

I saw some pictures of the razor with the extended battery and I was sure I would hate it. 3 words...I was wrong! I bought one today and I couldn't be happier! The phone feels solid, just the way I like it. The picture of the razor with an extended do not do it justice in person. I personally love the look and feel. I can still fit it into my pockets no problem whatsoever. Even with the extended, the razor is still smaller then the 815 by quite a bit. The way I see it now, I have a phone that not only makes fantastic calls(quality), the battery lasts forever...even with bluetooth turned on. I no longer have to worry about my razor getting drained. Hi guys -

Please help to find out what is going on with the phone or headset. I've just received a new Logitech Mobile Pro headset and I was able to connect it with my Razr V3C without any issues... but the problem is when I leave the headset far away so, bluetooth connection is gone and when I put it close the phone -> Razr V3C does not find it automatically... I have to go to connection -> bluetooth device -> connect and then it works again... I've seen other phones and they were able to find bluetooth device on the fly without any actions...

Perhaps, I've missed something (I set access to automatic for the headset) or maybe it's s limitation for the headset or phone

Please let me know if anyone knows anything about that....

Ive had the LG VX8100 for a couple of days now but the battery life doesnt seem too good.

First: How is the battery life just on a normal user that might use web once a day. And talks maybe 20 minutes?

Second: I heard there was an echo when u talk or its like your talking right next to a brick wall and what you say is amplified?

Third: What exactly did the software update when it went from .02 to .03? When did this come out?

If I am going into a verizon branch and just outright buy one without doing anything with my contract how much will I pay ??????

I love the Razr and I hate what Verizon did to it! Short of flashing with Alltell, can anyone tell me if I can revert to version .02 so that I at least have full sync capability with MPT? If that is possible, what would I loose by doing it?

hold the phone! hold off on buying the razr until this version comes out in the second fiscal quarter of this year(april-june). it'll be pretty much the same except for an expandable memory card that can hold up to 1 gb of music/video(the current razr for verizon can't be hooked up to stereo headsets to play mp3's). this is the one ive been waiting for. i already have a phone that plays video and mp3's with a transflash card. honestly, i feel a current razr would be a step back for me since it lacks a lot of features that current phones have. but i'll pick up the v3m as soon as it hits the shelf. style and substance. boooyah!

Hi - just wondering if anyone has (in file format for the v3c) ringtones such as the moto "continental" or "classic" ringtone? These are the standard Nextel ringers, but I believe they also come on the E815 and the V3. Basically I'm just looking for something a little more business like...has anyone else looking for something similar found any good sites out there?

Has anyone gotten Calendar synch to work correctly? I'm able to synch Contacts fine using MPT 3.28 but when I synch my Calendar, I don't see the item under Tools | Calendar | View Events. In fact, my V3C Calendar is blank even though I have meetings in my Outlook Calendar.

Hmmm... are the PIM functions for the V3C that limited?

Ok first I thik I know the answer but will my car plug and old v710 power plugs work for the Razr? I think not but I want to make sure... b. any one use bluetooth w/BMW how does it work? c. Do they make an extended life battery for v3c? and if so is it that much bulker than reg. battery? I used one on my V710 and it made it pretty bulky but not that bad... Last u guys really happy with it? Oh and 1 last thing I'm sorry.. I searched this site and I think I know the answer is yes, but can I send myself ring tonez and pic's like I did w/my v710 my cell phone # @vzwpix.com? my fried has a razr with the latest firmware. she complained that her bettry life is very short. i have a samsung 950 and can switch between EVDO/CDMA/HYBRID by going to MENU/SETTING&TOOLS/#/000000/PREF MODE/CDMA ONLY

I see the actual size of the verizon razr and the cingular razr are a little different. I like the body glove case for the razr but not sure if it will fit right since it is made for the v3 not the v3c? So has any one tried this case or will cingular razr cases fit the verizon version ok? I know it is only like a mm diference between the two phones but i figuered i would check before i ordered someting that doesn't fit

OK why did Verizon have to "F" with the calculator? I use to love to do my tips and percentages on it now what the heck? What am I going to do with (,), or what ever is on there now...

Also what's up with not being able to change the main menu? Just the bottom? WHY???

How do you delete the pre installed pics and when I send a sound to my phone it plays loud and clear when the message is opened and once its saved and used as a ringtone or other sound function its hard to hear. Anyone got any ideas?? Thanks :-)

OK I just put the battery in and just noticed that the battery cover color isn't even close to the color of the back of the phone is that normal? The back is like a blue silver and plastic and the battery cover is like a purple silver and metal..
