Motorola RAZR V3c

Can anyone tell me what the difference is?

My v3c that is a replacement for my lawsuit v710 arrives on Tuesday and I'd like some advice on the software. Thanks.

I'm looking to upgrade my phone to RAZR. On my V710, I can connect through the phone with my Bluetooth IPAQ or PC to the DUN for Verizon. (ie, use as a modem with the #777 dial up number). I have Mobile Web 2.0, and it uses minutes similar to when I connect to internet with the phone.

Does the RAZR support the Dial Up Networking modem function from a Bluetooth connect? They guy at the Verizon Store said it did not, but most times they are not very informed, so I'm hoping this forum can give met the correct info.

This might be a dumb question but I just got a new RAZR for US Cellular and was wondering you can use a regular headset with this phone. I don't see a 3mm jack anywhere on the phone. Can someone please help me?

My friend and I are in the same room at work, she is on the same side as me but 6 ft away. When she puts her phone down she has full connection with EVDO. She also has version .03. When I put my phone down I have 2 bars with 1X. (I have version .02) Is that because of the software difference? Thanks

Is there a way to have my Verizon Razr ring with decreasing volume with each ring?

Is it possible to have the actual picture appear under the contact entry instead of the name of the picture on a v3c?

I thank all of you for the last last couple of months worth of help with the poor V3c. But between barely a bar service in my home, and all of the revealed (to me at least) greed with VZW and how they do biz I'm finally FREE!
I signed with Cingular this weekend got my whole family REAL razors (which I still amazed at how much better it IS) and now I have full bars in my home, work (Boeing) and EVERYWHERE else we went this weekend. It was a game all weekend with me and my wife.
AND I gotta say I have never had such great Customer Service. This kid did everything including filling-out all my rebate forms, carefully removing all UPC labels, and neatly stapling everything together with receipts and folding them up to be mailed off... w...

I heard that the battery save option fixes the non-updating clock bug. How is this done, and what are the drawback? in other words.. what exactly does the battery save option do? thanks

This phone is such an enigma! When it works, it's delightful, but that is only 2/3 of the time. Best-sounding speakerphone I've heard - except when the people I call hear a disruptive echo of their own voices. Several times, calls have resulted in every 2nd or 3rd word cutting out (both ends of the conversation). Verizon heard this when I called in on *611 twice, so they have offered to replace it a thrid time. Other odditites: the "charging complete" screen stays lit until the phone is turned on again - some of the time; sometimes the voice recognition gets it all wrong (most of the time it is terrific - no difference in ambient noise). Take it from me, i was one of the first that put alltel software in my phone and dont get me wrong it was wonderful to have motorola's UI... but i decieded that i wanted to have my get-it now back... well guess what i put the .03 software in my phone and my get-it now still doesnt work... ive tried everything and vzw data tech support tried everything but no good... they told me my phone is defective and to trade it out. So unless u guys know the cure... dont flash ur phone if u think u might go back for get-it now reasons... i also saw a thread where someone said that mobile web works with alltel software... wrong mobile web does not work, unless u did something different.... thanks

does uscc ever update their software for this phone? and if they do have they done so since the phone has been out?

I just got a verizon razor, it has the .03 software, even without OBEX, using get it now is there some way to get an .mp3 onto the phone as a ring tone? I don't mind paying for it, I hate the ringtones on the phone and I don't want to download one from the ringtone stores cause I want a ring not a song. Any suggestions?

Loved my old Nokia that could be set to ring only once then stop...Can I do this on my new Razr? Esp handy when its late at night when kids are sleeping so I dont have to run to get the phone. Related question: reducing volume on each ring? Is that possible?

I've read a few posts talking about software versions .02 or .03 etc. I am looking at getting a Razor off of Ebay and was wondering if the phone I purchase will be able to be updated with the newest software at a Verizon store. I'm not familiar with a lot of the technical stuff when it comes to phones.... I just want the Razor and I want to make sure it works... Any info would help - thanks!

Sorry if these have been asked, I tried to look and didn't see specifics.
1. When I charge my phone it never says "charging complete". Took the first one back and tech guys said it should. Gave me a new phone and that doesn't say it either. Should it say complete or not?

2. Screensaver still doesn't work on the v .03. Is this correct. I really don't' care about screensaver, but was wonders.

3. Any better solution for locking the outside buttons, then locking the entire key board. I read a suggestion to hit clr * and it would lock the outside and inside keyboard. If this is the solution, then so be it.

4. Speed Dialing--when I hit speed Daly, it will call the user I have set in #1 but it does not tell me what physical ...

Ok, i have a question about the RAZR V3c. I saw it for sale unlocked on a website. I thought cdma phones couldnt be unlocked. In any case, if a Verizon RAZR can be flashed to work with Alltel, then could an unlocked V3c work with Sprint??? Im not too familiar with CDMA so any help would be greatly appreciated

does any one know how much it is?

No MP3, just a regular sounding phone ring. The closest thing to it in the menu sounds terrible. Thanks

Download and install BVRP's Driver Tool: http://www.bvrp.com/Customers/Motorola/Driver Tool.zip Run MPT (then LiveUpdate) and go to: setup/generalsetup/communication, click "change modem" and click next. Choose your modem from the list and click next. Check the "Do not automatically select the driver, select from a list" and click next. You should see "cdma phone" on the left and model #'s on the right. Choose "v3c", click finish> Multimedia Studio should no longer be grayed out. Enjoy... 😁

I am offering my Razr V3c for Sale today March 27, 2006. I was not eligible for an upgrade, so I bought it at the non contract price on March 7, and I am going back to my E815.

This phone does not have a mark on it. It only has 10 hours of calls, and I still have all original packaging and manuals. (even the Verizon store bag) Everything is 100% fully operational, and works like it was brand new.

As a businessman, I had a difficult time adjusting to the Verizon UI on this phone after coming from my E815. So I have decided to go back to what I know, and sell the Razr.
