Motorola RAZR V3c

I picked up my razr earlier today, and I have a question. In my contacts list...when I click on a specific contact, is it possible to have a photo come up? I can only get the name of the photo, and I'm not sure if this is normal or not! Thanks!

damm its about time cricket gets some good phones!!!! isnt this the best phone cricket has had in 6 years?? lol i think so they have always had piece of **** phones ......... 😁

Does anybody have screen saver to work on their phone?

I just got the RAZR on Monday 12/26. I checked my minutes used on the VZW website and it said I used approx 400 peak minutes. There is no way that I did that. I checked the counters on my phone and it said I have 6:27 of lifetime data usage. There is no way I used the data features that much. I did a little mobile web and a little browsing on GIN, but certainly not 6 hrs worth.

I called VZW and they cant do anything until they can see an invoice, after your billing date.

I just wanted to alert you and please post if you are having the same problems....

Okay i have two questions.. Is there anyway to make a conference call that consists of 3 people in one phone call? Also i have version .02, i know screensaver doesnt work..has anyone got it to work with this version, or should i flash mine.

does any body know if the vz navigator will be available for the RAZR or with a soft ware upgrade will do.......?

let me set some thing strait , the obex profile is disabled on the v3c but NOT on some of the first shipment of phones , some of the phones came with that profile enabled . as far as the rest of the phone that feature can easly be re enabled using seem edits , and no that does not void your warranty , there is no way for verizon to know . as far as defects on the phone customers are returning the phone because some of phones do not have speed dial , i dont know how well the phone is going to preform but let me tell you all this , on dec 1st 6 days before the internet sale, there were 3,000 fru's (factory refurbished unit) in stock at the warehouse , which means that thre were problems even befor launch .

Just got my Razr v3c from Alltel last Wednesday - I love it!.
I've been reading some comments on here from people that haven't been able to sync their Razr with Motorola phone tools and transfer pics and such. I had at first just MPT version 3 - 3.22 and 3.28 or something - after I clicked update and downloaded the 52Mb update to Mpt 4.0 - everything works great! I did however have to call Alltel tech support and have them reset something with the account programming and then repower on the phone so that I could access 'Axcess'so that I could download games.
Hope this helps any new users. Great phone so far - we'll see in 6 months how it holds up.

any body out there have this problem with the razr by chance my phone on my second 3 in the mail has deleted my address book entries and it is pissing me off i just noticed the other week and had a new phone for all of 5min and bam deleted like 5 entries then cingular gave me a new sim card and worked for a day and then i just was comparing numbers to a hard copy that i have on the pc and 6 entries gone and yesterday I was on moto phone tools with the phone hooked up and i deleted a couple after putting some more entries on the phone and then i said read phone entries some of the families entries were gone and after that 23 entries just dropped off the phone it has a total mind of its own so i am just wondering if any one else has had this ...

My phone does not display all of my photos when I open my contacts, hit the "edit" button and then "picture." I have like 36 pictures on there (mostly the ones that came with the phone) but only 34 show up.

Interestingly, if I open "My Pix" from the "Get Pix and Flix" page, all 36 photos will show up. When I open up "My Pix" when within editing a contact, only 34 of the 36 show up. I've been able to work around the problem by selecting the photo I want, hitting "options" and then "set as."

But, ideally, I could add the picture caller ID when adding contacts. Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help me?

I don't think this is possible, but I have a customer that wants to remove the top and bottom red bar. The VZW software will more than likely not allow this, but I am sure if there is a way, one of you phone nerds have figured it out.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find it. Verizon V3. Is there a way to stop/mute the start-up and shut-down sound. This can be very annoying if you are trying to turn on or shut down the phone discreetly. Must be a way but I can't find the setting in any of the menus. Thanks

Other than going into the system settings, how do you display your cell phone number. The instruction manual says something about pressing # but that does not seem to work.

Any suggestions?

I just got a new Verizon RZR v3c today, and I have a question: shouldn't the external display always be on? Mine shuts off after a couple of seconds, and I have to hit the voice command button to turn it on to see the time/display (and then it shuts off again).

And if it is supposed to be like this, how can I tell that my phone is on?? With no external display or flashing light, I have to open it to see if the battery is charged?

Do I have a lemon?

I just recently purchased the razr, and i liked it at first but no i am just getting sick of the slow and laggy menu system. I also don't like that it does have the ring\vibrate feature. Anyone have any input as to what i should switch to?

I am getting ready to decide between one of these two phones, and am not sure which way to head. Of course, I love the design of the Razr, but is the e815 better? And also, I read where someone said the Razr has very little customization available - is this true? Thanks 🙂

To all of those early adoptors of Verizion's Razr... Isn't anyone upset that Verizon's current promo is Buy 1 Razr for $100 get a second for free? I feel that this is completely unfair. Of course the ball is completely in VZW's court - to price their products as they please, but I paid roughly $300 for mine about 3 months ago. Three months does not justify a price drop of more than 80%. Verizon should have unveiled the Razr at $100 - $150 and kept that price there throughout. The V60's price didnt change for at least 9 months after debut. While Cingular drastically undercut VZ's price and continued to cut the price of their Razr in the past 3 months this is still BS. Verizon surely planned such quick promotions ahead of time and took complet...

anybody know y my mobile phone tools is not pickin up my razr? i have the latest version of mobile phone tools and have this phone with u.s. cellular

How can i get an updated SW version? i got my phone 3 days ago and it has .02. Do i need to go into Verizon? Also...do u guys have any loose keypad problems? let me know thanks
