Motorola RAZR V3c

Anyone know if it is possible to put the Motorola UI on the VZW Razr? The VZW interface is poop!

Got mine today and have two questions.

1) Using back-up assistant I downloaded (man, this is an awesome service!) my phone book. Is there a way to edit my speed dial listings? It auto assigned them alphabetically.

2) Is there a way to edit the voice mail key ("1") so I can add in my password? If so, how?

If I have a .jpg or .gif that I created, how can I get that on my phone without paying verizon any kind of service.

Can you buy a usb cord that goes from your phone to your computer? If so what happens, is your phone recognized as a new drive?

also, does this phone have a video camera? I could only find the regular camera when I was playing with it?

I am trying to synch my moto razr with my plantronics BT headset and I have been unable to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions? My sister was able to do it with her cingular razr with no problem with the same headset. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thinking of buying the Verizon Razr because cannot get laptop to work with LG 8100. Can Razr be used as a modem to connect a laptop without paying Verizon hi speed Internet?

Does the V3C have a desktop charger? Found one on line but is for the v3 and wasn't sure it would work.

For VZW Employees.... Just went the our online store.. it's available.. Atleast for the NE Area... just ordered mine....

Does this phone come with a new type of charger, or is it the same one as the V710 and E815. I have had a lot of trouble with my charger for the e815 and v710.

I just thought it was funny that they always seem to do that then they never send out the email notice until late.

from what i read, this phone does not have a flash. however, from my limited use in stores the flash feature is not really that good. anyone who can shed some light on the camera quality of the razr compared to phones with 1.3 megapixel cameras or higher with flash would be greatly appreciated.

Spouting rumors of release dates and "what it going to have"; they talked to this guy, or that guy at their local one-stop-shop of a god forsaken verizon store who just employs some kid who is only a byproduct of mtv trl. And tragically that same kid is reading these forums to tell you just what you said, This whole place is about effective as my 8th grade Model U.N. club, debate about politics and knowing the inside info but guess what? when you get done reading you still have to wait for your mom to pick you up outside near the school mascot. This is not the Motorola I know. I have always liked Motorola but still knew they could do a lot better. They have and it’s called the v3c.

I have never heard a phone sound this good. It does not even feel like Im talking on a cell phone! Deffinately worth the money. I cant get over it. 😁

How is the volume of the ringtones on the phone???

1. You cant change the red color to any other color on the main screen.
2. There is no soft mode for the ringer. There is only master volume, vibrate, silent, and alarm.
3. You cant change the home keys to anything else besides the bottom one which is set to bluetooth. Otherwise u have internet, to go, and menu. I guess i am used to customizing it like the V710 did.


Other than that the phone is crystal clear, the color is vivid, looks sick sitting on the table (much better looking that any other razr)the camera is light years better than the V710 especially with dark photos (no fuzziness), the blue keys look sick, speakerphone works with the phone closed, keys are much better for text messaging, and did I mention it looks incred...

I went into my local verizon store yesterday to ask about the razr and they told me they had no idea and could not say then today it is in the store, I hate dishonest people. And they want so much for that phone. It is not worth it unless you get it for $99 save your money and wait for the price to drop, in a couple of months they will be free.

So many you of you care so much about looks. But your buying a phone. What ever happened to functionality? I guess you would rather have a pretty toy that doesn't do much. Wait if it doesn't do much that isn't a toy at all.

Got a txt and email from the higher-ups this morning that the RAZR is released in all direct stores in the northeast today. Enjoy!

So will this phone support the BT DUN protocol or no? I'm about to can my xv6600 if I can have a REAL phone and a REAL PDA and not have to pay $60 a month for data.

When I checked the site it didn't mention an MP3 player being in the phone but I know Motorola incorporated one. Try the MP3 player, does it work? (VZ customers only) Thanks!
