Motorola RAZR V3c

Questions:

1) How is the ear piece and speaker phone as far as volume and clarity?

2) How are the ringers?

I want to charge my v3c from my laptops USB port. I tried connecting then with a USB cable, but the phone does not charge, I am just prmpted to install drivers. Do I have to buy Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools to make that work, or can I just download the drivers from someone place else?

took some videos with the razr. the phone won't play the video. It shows the last frame of the video as a still only, while the counter ticks off the seconds as if the video is playing. Does anyone else have this problem or is it my phone?

I am looking for my retarded son slugphone, has anyone seen him. Last seen screaming into a dixie cup with a string attached "can you hear me now" any help would be appreciated.

My new Razr does not show the current time on the display. It shows the time that it was last used. It only updates after making a call or accessing the menu. Is this correct?

Also the phone does not make any sound or vibrate (even when volume is turned up), when I receive notification that a buddy signs on to aol. Can this be changed?

Well you all enjoy your fancy thin razr. I have a fully loaded nokia 6256i with full bluetooth and a lot more have fun. I'm happy i didn't get the razr after reading the problems you have encountered with it so far. It is defintely a disappointment. Can't say that about a nokia phone oh well.

i can't stand people like this. it is totally clear that neither of them own this phone.

Sumner is completely clueless. his review simply says to read about the cingular razr because it has issues. he clearly does not own this phone. this phone is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the gsm version. the design is similar but the featureset and internals are not even close to the same thing. his review is useless and the only point was to lower the razr's ratings.

Oden2k is just hating on this phone for some reason. he's obviously never owned a razr in his life. it's a step back from the E815? it's in a class completely different than the E815. the E815 was engineered to be a powerhouse. the razr was not. it was engineered in the look...

I have the Razr v3c for verizon. I was wondering how I can send an MP3 or a ringtone from my E-mail address to my cell phone. If that doesn't work, how do i send an MP3/ringtone to my phone?

A rep and I were playing around w/ our unactivated razr today. a friend came up and I txted him a ringtone that I had on my phone. He had the 8100 that he had just purchased. The sound file came thru fine but we couldn't set it as the ringtone. After some digging we found it was saving to the "My Sounds" portion on the vzw software. The guy I was working with is an ex-tech and emailed one of hte high level techs in support. Turns out that sound files are now kept seperate from the ringtone storage on the phone, in the vzw software.

My question, does it work on the razr? I only want to hear from people that have done it (ahem, vzwservicetech ;) I could wait till tom when our razr gets activated in the massive batch of store demo a...

Under Verizon they said you can get t.v. shows on V-Cast. The shows are Lost, CSI etc. Does anyone know how to access them?

I just got this awesome phone from Best Buy today and so far, I'm very impressed. I'm looking to find some more information on synchronization and I couldn't find it in the manual.

1) How can I synch my phone with my Contacts in Outlook?

2) Can I transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop PC?

Maybe I'm missing something since all I got with the phone was the charger.

In all of the pictures on Phonescoop the phone looks black, but in person it is gray, is there an alternative black colorway?

Lastly, Could I restructure my plan so that I have a one year contract from a two year contract? While I am still under contract?

Its great having a cool phone while being on the most reliable network... This razr has great earpiece volume and very clear sound. I put my favorite wallpaper and mp3 on this phone in ten minutes using www.funformobile.com.
