Unlock code for the PPC 6700
I'm not sure if this is against the terms of use policy; I skimmed thru it and there doesn't seem to be any reference that would forbid this question.
I bought a PPC6700 off of Ebay and of course, the thing is locked to a specific carrier. Is anyone aware of the unlock code for this pda phone?

The unit itself would not be "locked". What you would need is the Master Security Code (MSL n the Sprint world) to get into the programming of the device. The previous carrier of the device will have this info. Once you are in programming, you will need to change the SID number and a few other settings within the 6700 to reflect the new carrier's info. Once that is complete you will need the PRL (Preferred Roaming List) for the new carrier loaded to the device. Your 6700 is now ready to be activated with the new carrier.
This is where you hit a brick wall. As a policy carriers will not activate phones that were previously used by a different carrier. Dont get me wrong, the phone itself is 100% compatible. It is all red tape that you have ...
