I'm trying to get Yahoo IM running through WIFI, would love it if there was a version of GAIM, for cross IM platform that I could run my yahoo / AOL / MSN accounts all under one app.

If anybody has any recommendations, steps, links to download, Please reply.... 😁

Check out Agile Messenger. From what I've heard it should be able to handle what you're looking for.

Hope this helps,

When using any IM software program on the xv6700 (thru verizon wireless) is it considered a text message? Are you constantly billed per IM or does it fall under the internet usage? Also, does anyone have suggestions other than agilemobile for IM services with the xv6700. Tmobile seems to have the best IM package, it comes with the phone. Why doesn't verizon do the same!?!?!?! 😢 😢 😢

thanks!!

As far as I know, when connected to their data network and using Agile Messenger, everything is data. There will be no text charges there. I believe the only time Verizon charges a text message per IM is when you have a non-PDA style phone and use some app acquired thru Get-It-Now.
