How do you turn it back on then? Will it revert when you reboot?

yeah 3836 is evdo. It doesnt really dial a #, it gets u to a hidden screen on the phone. Just dial it again to turn it back on, its a window with a check box u check or uncheck.
Oh i forgot to mention its a feature palm put in, not verizon. If you call customer service they will have no idea what your talking about.

That is really very very cool of Palm. The EVDO battery drain issue was the one I was worried about, but the solution is so easy that I am now going to head to Verizon tomorrow to get one.
The protocol for this on a RAZR is something like a video game where you have to go through a maze and pick up weapons to save the princess. So I am really relieved.
I bet I can even put it on speed dial...
Any other useful hidden screens? Is there one to remotely start the coffee maker?
