Palm Treo 700w / 700wx
treo 700c?
asurion (insurance provider for the west coast)today told me that they will be sending me a treo 700c in replacement for my 700w that i "dropped in the ocean" during a fishing trip. wtf is a 700c?? or was the lady just trippin.
on a funnier note. asurion also told me that there was a glich in the system so i MIGHT be getting two "700c's" and if that is the case... to send one of them back.

xhale, were the new treos really 700c or was that a mistake? I heard the non-camera 700 would be badged a 700c, and wondered if these were that type. I am very interested to find out, so if you can clarify I would be most grateful. Thanks.

Actually I have a little rule about that. If we're talking about a small family operation where something like that would effect them (be of a significant loss etc) then I will always do "the right thing". However when we're talking about huge companies that see zero effect on their business as a result of them slipping with me alone, I'll take it every time. Example...I bought a steam cleaner and a shop vac from (I think) a walmart years ago.
