what about the 700 for sprint
Anyone no when the treo 700 will be released for sprint?

I believe Verizon has an exclusive for a some period. Sprint offers the Treo 650, which I had to switch to when my 700w had very poor reception and a lot of dropped calls.
It's a very good PDA with cell phone and many reviewer like it better than the 700w.

i STILL have not had ONE dropped call, even when i just have one bar, i still can make and recieve calls no problem. unheard of with my 8100.

I talked with my sprint rep a few days ago and he said that verizon has exclusive rights to the 700w for six months, then sprint will be releasing their model.

I can't wait for the 700W to be released on Sprint's network as well.

Ok, so 6 months, so that would make it June 1, 2006? Is that correct? When did the 700W appear in Verizon's lineup? Jan 1st?

I'm looking now, but I saw somewhere not to many days ago that Sprint would be releasing their 700P in mid April. It's very similar to the 700W only it has the Palm OS, thus, no wait to release it. Haven't seen when or if Sprint will get a Windows version, but if they do it definitely won't be until after June 1.
