Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r

New phone out of the box and when I change the camera resolution to "High" and try to take a picture the message says "Insert memory card and change storage device"..shouldn't I be able to at least take one 1.2 megapixel picture using the camera memory? Or do you have to have a card installed for this higher resolution to work?

This new RAZR is comming to cingular. It features two cameras: one VGA the other one !.3 MP. Also has GPS and accepts High speed networks like sprint.

i am stuck between these three phones.

-i love the v3i, but i am afraid that it's not worth all that money.

-i like the sync, but if i get that, i'm afraid that i'll regret getting it and wish i got the v3i.

-and i just like the cu400, b/c its nice looking and its cheap.

which phone should i choose?
HELP PLEASEEEE!

everytime i put music i had purchased music on itunes then load it onto the phone, it wont play! All it does is display the info real quick then moves on to the next song.... this was happining with my rokr too and i juss cant figure it out

In case you haven’t heard, Cingular is not going to offer “FastForward” to new customers after next week. If you already have the option you will be able to keep it.

I have a RAZR, and I am able to use this option without a cradle (which is NOT available for the V3’s).

There is a simple formula that you key into the phone to turn FastForward on and off.

It is as follows:

To activate: *21# send
To deactivate: #21# send

To set it up with a phone number to forward to:

**21* (enter phone#) # Send

ie: ** 21*12125551234# send.

You only have to put the number in once.
If you want to change the forward number, repeat the above.

The forwarded calls will show up on you invoice, but will NOT be counted in your mon...

Is there a way to flash the phone or something to get the iTunes off of there and use the MP3 player like on the V3r?

Has anyone had any experience with this phone and "TeleNav", the GPS Navigation system (from Cingular) which utilizes the bluetooth function of the phone, along with an add on piece of equipment?

I'm upgrading from my V3 to the V3i, and purchased the equipment needed. It's all being shipped (with the bluetooth piece of equipment on back-order). I didn't want to move my service to Verizon which has a phone that incorporates GPS Navigation on the phone, and found that Cingular provides this albiet with a small receiver and bluetooth.

anyone know if a price drop before Xmas?

I noticed that the T-Mo V3t has a totally different firmware than either the V3i's, V3r's or the V3's. Anyone know the inside scoop?

I am looking for anyone who has had a side by side comparison of these two phones. I dont need a summary of feature versus feature as I can read those for myself, but I'd like opinions of pros/cons of one versus the other. Thanks!

p.s. Does "ITunes" mean that I cannot use regular ripped mp3s?

The Cingy version has mobile email and media net preconfigured
I heard that on the no brand model, you have to configure the media net yourself but no option for the mobile email (so it alerts you on it's own when you have a new message) instead of having to sign on each time to see if there's new messages or not

I have been searching for information on compatability of the v3i D&G with the Verizon network. I have seen several of these phones on Ebay and so far have not come across any that state specifically that they do, in fact, work with the Verizon network.

Anyone out there know if they do or IF Verizon will be coming out with this phone and if so WHEN????????????

It's thicker, not by much, and way more durable!
Plus it is a super cool phone. Love it.
But one complaint is when you go to the sounds menu icon you can't get your list of HiFi ringers you have downloaded. You have to go to the Playlist on your MP3 and sort them! That blows-

Isnt EV-DO faster than EDGE?

I have a unlocked 3vi that works except that I cant access cingular's internet features such as scores,movies weather etc... I was told I could take the phone into a cingular store and they could take the phone and download cingular software into the phone so as to make the phone act like a branded cingular phone...when I contacted my local cingular store they didn't know anything about how to do this...Is this an impossable feat?...The phone can access the internet but not the cingular internet functions/
