Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r

The phone was not cancelled by Cingular. There was not a dropped call issue, there was actually an issue with the iTunes software. According to the data guy in my market, some one found a way to hack the iTunes software. The hack was to eliminate the 100 song limit of the v3i. This limit is in place so that the v3i would not be a direct competetor to a possible apple branded phone that could be comming anytime soon. But we do expect the phone in our market by August 1.

everytime that I recive a text from someone and I go to reply to the text message my screen freezes, is there any way that I can fix this, I have tried taking out the battery and leaving it out to possibly reset the phone and it still does that, doe anyone know how to fix this or has anyone had this problem?

i had the v600 and I felt it was slow, the button pressing and menus scrolling.
I guess the RAZR has the same software and was wondering what do you think about that? My nokia 6230 is very fast and very easy to work with, I always felt the RAZR is not so.

Ok, who here knows how to download the moto tunes on the itunes version V3i?? or who knows how to make the song limit higher than 50 on itunes??? If know one knows yet, then when?? this is soooo frustrating! HELP!?

Can you plz plz perty plz tell me exactly where the cingular you went to is located at.....i live in sa too and i have been waiting for this phone anxiously for like a month.....you see mky birthday was on June 15 and i wanted the SLVR, but when we got to cingular they had a v3i poster up and they said 2 weeks.....it has been a month pl;z tell me i wuld be so apprecaitive if you did THX 😁

After speaking with the folks at LOCKLINE (the company who insures Cingular phones) while making a claim on my broken SLVR I have learned that for some reason they are unable to insure any cell phones which utilize the i-Tunes software.

Specifically they will not be insuring the V3i or the V3x.

The woman on the phone told me that she only had a list of the phones which they did not cover, and on the list were the ROKR, SLVR, RAZR(V3i). She told me that she didn't know why those phones were picked, but she probably does not know specifics about the phones anyway.

Of course we might deduce, the common thread among those phones is that they all have i-Tunes.

On the V3i, I notice you could switch the memory usage for video, sounds, etc. On the video for example, you could take video shots for as long as you want ( depending on the size of memory ).
Is this also possible on the V3m ( Verizon Wireless) or is the memory card only used for music playing??

Do anyone know if this version has that nasty ear hum?? For those who dont know whatg I am talking about, take an original razr, open it and just place it up to your ear. You will hear this awful buzzing noise that does not go away. I went through about 6 of them with Tmobile and cingular before I gave up and went with a nokia.

lost my razer v3, out of contract, using a loaner crap phone....does anyone know or when the v3i will be realesed for Cingular? I thought it was 6-24, but obviously i was wrong.

😕 ok i bought a v3i and im currently setting up the browser settings for it, but when i got it i noticed that there were already alot of web sessions already programmed.is there a way to delete these, because it will not let me make any more new entries. i can always just edit the ones that are there, but i was just wondering. if anybody knows any info on this please let me know. thanx

ok, so I'm at the cingular store. They have this phone in stock. It was an independant agent and he said he could go as low as $300 for me in case your wondering.
Now heres my issue, the cingular branded v3i has a 50 song limit. I decided that I would deal with the 100 song limit, but 50, I mean, come on, what is the deal cingular? The slvr has a 100 song limit and is hackable to get rid of that. The v3i, as far as right now, is unhackable.
So what am I spending my $300 on, honestly? Pretty much the v3 I have now with a shiney new case. Fine, it has a better camera, but still not all that great compared to the competition. And the 50 song limit is more like a neat little toy to play with rather than an mp3 player. Deal breaker, no chance.

nice pic of a blue v3i on cingular website but it is listed as a v3. Whats that all about?

I have an unlock version of a Razor V3i and found a way to access Media Net. I purchased a game like normal but when it came to download it, the phone read " Cannot Download, authentic error" .

Is this because of the phone not being branded by Cingular and is there another way around this? Any suggestion would be greatly appricated. Thanks 😕

IS there a way to increase the earpiece voulme on the V3i??

My contract is up with cingular and I am looking to upgrade the phone either I can get the razor or razor v3i , does anyone knows when v3i will be available with cingular.

Also to upgrade phones there is only option to do a 2 year contract not one year.
