HEY DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE Q IS COMMING OUT FOR SPRINT????

I was on here the other day and saw some pictures of the Moto Q in black. Where can I see a pic of it? 🙄

If I want to record ringtones onto an SD card, can someone PLEASE give me step by step instructions on how to do that? I've posted before but oddly enough have not seen an answer.

If I turn off PUSH on the Q, will it increase my battery life substantially? Also, if I do this, it will still wirelessly bring my email to my Q, just only when I manually tell it to, correct?

Has anyone's video frozen on their Q before?

I love this phone, but there is one problem: when i push a button, another button comes up that i never push; and I did take it off of the predictive setting. Has this happened to anyone else?

Can someone please help me? I actually work for one of the largest retailers for VZW but it's in a very small town. So basically we won't see the q for probably another month. I've never owned a PDA so this would be my first. My phone was stolen last week so I'm using my POS nokia until I get my new one and I've been wanting the Q since I first saw it a few months ago but I'm planning on buying a macbook and it won't sync. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get around this or the pros and cons between the two? Thanks a bunch.

I've had my Q since Wednesday and I've loved it up until . . . . . right about now. It froze up a few times during internet browsing and restarted itself. After the third time of doing this, it restarted, showed the Verizon logo and then went completely white. It makes a great flashlight though.

As of now, the good still out-weigh the bad and I'm going to try Q #2 tomorrow and hopefully it will have a longer life than this one.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have posted several times about this and am wondering WHY I haven't gotten any responses.

Please someone help me use the sd card to hold ringtones. Can you provide me with step by step instructions?

I was wondering if this phone is able to have mp3's set as ringtones...and if so can I set individual songs/ringers to different people. I am guessing if this is possible I would put the songs on the SD card, and transfer the songs into my sounds on the phone? ANy help would be greatly appreciated. I went from a Q to a Treo 650 yesterday. If anyone has gone from a Q to any Treo, or vice versa, please reply. I'm intersted to hear comparisons.

I know this forum is a big fan of Q phone, but I just went to try both the phones in the store and was quite disappointed to see the Q phone. The size is not the right to hold in hand, yes it is quite light in weight but the width is not right to hold in hand. When I tried to play the video link on window media player on Q phone, the picture was not moving and was stopping in every 5 second, because I guess the memory is not enough to play the live video ( through video streaming), the processor is not big enough to handle the application. Overall I am disappointed with Q.

On the other hand I was surprised to see the size of 6700, it is very nice to hold in hand and has 128 MB ( yes the weight is 6 oz compare to 4 oz of Q phone), video st...

it's good to be back to the Q. It's the first QWERTY phone that i've ever used. I traded my 6700 in for it because the Q is the only phone that Verizon hasn't screwed up the bluetooth on. That, and the 6700 froze even worse than when had the Q the first time. i'm keeping this one. Has anyone else noitced the bluetooth lock on Verizon phone?

I thought all I had to do was drag an mpeg file onto my memory card and it would play on my Q. Whenever I try to open the file, is says there is no program associated with it and I need to open the program, then open the file inside it. Whenever I open Windows media player and attempt to open the file, the mpeg doesn't show up. What am I doing wrong?

It doesn't look like the Q is equipped w/JAVA. If I'm right, can someone tell me if it's possible to install JAVA (via 3rd party perhaps) to allow JAVA games to be played?

Ive narrowed my choices for a pda/pim app to either Papyrus or Agenda One. But I havent used either one, its only based on what I have read.

I dont need a ton of bells and whistles, just a good app that makes it easy to enter, view, and edit my calendar and task items.

Which would you recommend?

Are they both good, and I would be ok with either one?

Any major problems with either app?

Any major advantage either app has?

Whenever I visit www.cnn.com (or other news sites), I click on video news segments (with the tiny video camera next to the article) but nothing happens. I have loaded TCPMP onto my Q. Am I missing something?

I love the VX670, but not so much Verizon. I wanna know if there's really a different between the VX6700 and the PPC6700 (sprint's version, for those that don't know).

Alas -

*It's too bright at night and too faded in the sun;
*Individual contacts don't scroll;
*It won't sync to my work computer;
*It's slow and unintuitive;
*Two to three deep for many applications;
*I'll be paying the price for another phone by the time I purchase enough 3rd party apps to make me - almost- happy;
*Too many blank stares from Verizon reps who don't know squat about the Q and would rather be out drinking a beer than dealing with customers;
*I'm a Treo guy at heart;
*It just ain't fun;
*and other frustrations that have come up that will occur to me after I finalize this thread;

Sooo.... Does anybody know where/how to best deal with or dump Verizon to move on to a 700P least expensively? I am past the golden...
