Motorola Q

Does anyone know of any app that I can install on the Q that will enable me to manage text messages in an interface that looks/acts like an instant message? This is how text messages are presented on the Treo and I'm looking for an app that will enable it on the Q.

I know how to get delivery notification when message has been successfully sent *but* sometimes intended recipients do not have active text messaging and I have no way of knowing this. I want to receive a failure message. Vtext a VZW on-line *does* indicate when there is a sending failure. Thanx.

Just go to this site from your Q (enter your XM email and password) and you can stream XM radio directly to the Q !!! And through the stereo speakers it sounds amazing!! No need to store MP3 on your device, just listen to XM all the time.

I used a google image search and found a pic of the Dark Grey Q and I think it is much more refined and attrative than the silver. Is Verizon going to be getting it or is it a GSM version?

when im on the phone with someone, and they're talking, their voice is followed by this buzzing sound after everyword. does anyone have this problem, and is there anyway to fix it? its kind of annoying when everyone sounds like a bee

Is there a way that i can access my VM with Verizon without entering the password every time (There must be a setting somewhere)? With T-Mo i would go straight to the main menu when dialing from my mobilr phone

i'm not sure if this is true, but i thought i read somewhere that you can NOT write a memo or reminder on this phone and have an alarm go off to remind you of whatever you typed in. is this true???, or is this phone pretty good with organizational things?

What happens if you did the update not on a fully charged battery. Does it effect the battery that it will be weaker for now on?

I have downloaded the new software a few days ago and I like it except it now will not allow enhanced text messaging. If someone sends me a message over 160 characters it is cut off at 160. Prior to the download it worked fine. I would get to 2 continous messages. This is a bigger issue to me then the ones the new software was meant to correct. Is it possible to get the old version back. Motorola advised me to dial *228. Yeah okay. Any real help would be appreciated. thx

Does anyone know how to view the text messages you have sent out on the moto Q? is there an inbox or outbox?

In a few days I'll be eligible for New Every 2 with Verizon. I want a phone that will help me keep myself organized. I'm not really interested in having the phone do work that I would do on my computer, I just want to be able to keep up with my contacts, my schedule and have a phone that works. Bluetooth is important to me.

I like that the Q has an airplane mode, I don't fly that much, but when I do that's time to look at the schedule. The 700P doesn't have airplane mode.

What does it mean that the Q isn't a "smartphone" and the 700P is, will I care?

My phone has a million software problems...i need to get it fixed, its a pain in the but.. I have the highest insurance on the phone and i would like to know what the process for getting this replaced.

I synch with Outlook but choose not to synch my contact list because I have thousands on my office computer but only keep a few dozen personal contacts on my Q. If I upgrade I will lose all my contacts - how can I easily restore them after the upgrade?

I get through all the wireless sync but they are asking for a username and a password. The username is my phone# but the password????

Is there any way to get the time to show up on the screen while you are talking on the phone, without going back to the homescreen?

There are a bunch of times when im on the phone and I want to know what time it is.

I heard that if you have the Q then you are required to get a data plan, is this true?

Can the email be updated in real time? Or do i have to wait 15 minutes for a send/receive function to act? I use email frequently to communicate (sometimes at the speed of text messaging) so does the Q allow me to do this? Thanks

i signed on AIM and everytime press the enter button or the center button on the navigation dial it makes a noice and says me: voice. dunno why and they can get my ims but i dont get what they say why? please help
