Help!! How do I get MMS to work for Cingular
I cannot get it to work. I went to the forums for the A780 as instructed, however, even with those instructions, I still can't get MMS attachments to download. My web browser works fine even though the phone will not accept the Gateway IP address that was given in the forum for the A780. With all instructions followed, my phone indicates that it is downloading, but it always says failed about 15 minutes later. If anyone out there knows how to set up MMS for this phone specifically, please tell me how to do it. Thanks!!

I am a Cingular customer and I have a A1200. My MMS is working fine, I went to motorolafans.com to get the settings. They have a sticky thread there dedicated to this very subject.

Thanks so much for your quick response. It's good to know that it does work for these phones. I called Cingular for help and they were no help at all. They said that unlocked phones have very limited access to the Cingular network. That was contradictory to the forums that I have read here. I went to the website you mentioned. Can you recall what area I need to look in?
