Motorola A1200 / MING

😢 I bought the phone, used it for three days and the screen turned black. Maybe the backlight died, i don't know. Took it to the place i bought it from and they told me it was water damage. How can that be!?!?!! I don't remember dropping it or even having the phone in contact with water. Anybody, please... know where i can fix it. I live in Los Angeles. Is there somewhere i can take it in, and have it fixed? Please help!

unlock password for sd card

i lock my sd card by mistake and i dont know the password does anyone knows the password for it

I bought my Motorola (1200) Ming phone, and i was able to connect my email settings for yahoo mail and Comcast successfully.

Does any one know the Settings on how to receive AIM MAIL on it?

I cannot get it to work. I went to the forums for the A780 as instructed, however, even with those instructions, I still can't get MMS attachments to download. My web browser works fine even though the phone will not accept the Gateway IP address that was given in the forum for the A780. With all instructions followed, my phone indicates that it is downloading, but it always says failed about 15 minutes later. If anyone out there knows how to set up MMS for this phone specifically, please tell me how to do it. Thanks!!

Can I connect the A1200 with Lotus Notes 6.0 ?

Since the phone runs on Linux OS, can it be sync-ed with Microsoft Windows Outlook ? Is it difficult or easy ?

One other question: Since the phone is unlocked, can it still be setup for internet through Cingular, T-Mobile, etc ?

If i bought this phone could I use Cingular medianet with it. I have bought a unlocked phone before but I could never download ring tones or use the Internet because everything was in Chinese

when i go into my messenger its in chinese, my primary language is set to english, is there anyway to make the javascript in english? And does anyone know how to set up the internet to work with cingular

My biggest complaint with my current phone (a630) is the inability of the standard Vxxx operating system of accessing anything but the phone book while on a call.

Does Motorola allow the use of the calendar or any other applications while during a call on the linux OS?

I used to have the Sonny E. P910 and its very easy to search for contacts direct in the alphabet letters in the front panel with the numbers. How do you search for contacts (last name) direct in the screen... only with the stylus pen? or how... I need to search and dial only with one hand... is this possible?

Does anyone know if you can dictate a text message with the voice recognition feature and then send it that way? I want this phone, but if I have to write out all my text messages I think I might not want this model, even though it is super sweet.
