Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good headset (wired or wireless) to pair with this phone?

I just got the 6126 and I don't see the date on the main screen.

I'm used to relying on my phone for the date.

Is there anyway to have the date on the screen?

WEll...here i am again...my nokia 6133 displays a white screen it just happen....and it wont turn off unless i pull out the battery,can any body help me figure out whats going on???? this has never happened before....and its just weird... 😕

i had no problems sending a pic message to my email with my 6102i, but i haven't figured out how to yet with the 6126. i can't get it out of number mode to send to my email address, or anyone elses. it keeps acting like i'm wanting to send to a phone number. just wanting to know, before i have look it up :-), how to send a pic message to an email address. thanks guys for any help!!

What type of data cable does the Nokia 6126 use? I need to make sure, because I'm thinking of getting one off of eBay.

I can't, for the life of me, connect to instant messaging. If this is normal, I'll go to a V3xx before it's too late. If not, I'll endure with it. Please help me if you can.

Got my phone last week-Loving it so far- On my voice recording mode, the playback is VERY quite, and I can not find a setting to raise it - In video mode with voice , it is fine in playback mode.(voice volume)- Am I missing a recording volume adjustment somewhere??? - Thanks in advance

I've been trying to figure out a way to make a simple one button shortcut to turn bluetooth on and another one to turn bluetooth off. I use my phone in the car and it would be much more convienient to make this change with just one push of a button. I'm stumped, I thought It could be done with two profiles, but that is not working for me.

Any suggestions?

I got a replacement Nokia 6126 and I noticed that when I get a message (any kind: voice, text, multimedia), the screen indicator and on the right side of the battery indicator at the top, the screen will highlight, but the rest of the screen stays the same. Why is that, or is this another defective device? I really hope this device will function properly. I do not remember the faulty Nokia 6126 ever doing that on the external display when the display would show. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks.

Can anyone help me with this? I purchased a 6131 unlocked and want to download the my-cast weather application to my phone. Everytime I try, it says "No certificate on phone or SIM" and will not allow me to download. This is because of Cingular's wonderful certificates that they install on their phones. Since it's unlocked, I don't have those 2. Is there any way to get this onto my phone? I called them and they are no help, yet I love this program. Can someone help with this?

Like everyone else, it would be nice to have a longer holding charge on my 6126 -Do these batteries have memory? _ I completley discharged and recharged it 3 times this week and I was just wondering if I still need to do this at this point to get max life and charge out of battery. Would like to charge it daily, but will it hurt the overall life of it?, don't want to run short the next day if I don't.

Hello. I wanted to let you know that I received my replacement Nokia 6126, so I will see how this one works out, if I get anymore problems. I hope I don't. I know there was someone on here who wanted to get this phone and I mentioned that I was having issues with the external display turning white randomly. Now all should be fine. I'll see how it is after two weeks, which was when the first one started acting up.

I am using the 6126 with cingular and I can't seem to get and Edge service. All I have is the little "g" icon on my screen. Anyone else have this issue? I know I have edge service in my area because I have had plenty of other phones that had no problem getting it....

I'm thinking about getting the Nokia 6126. Can you download mp3 to phone & use them as ringtones? Does the usb cable come free with the phone? please let me know.

Normally with all other phones I have been able to enter an email address (instead of a mobile phone number) in the "TO:" field of a MMS or Text message. With the Nokia 6126 I am only able to enter a phone number. Anybody know why?

I'm trying to send a picture I took with my phone to my email address, but its not letting me enter a character aside from numbers in the "to" field.

Any solutions?

I really like the 6126 except that it doesn't have an FM radio. Is it possible to get the 6133 with Cingy? I have Cingy now and have the 6102i. I'm eligible for an upgrade and have looked at the N75 but think it is too much for me. I want a Nokia, flip, FM radio with email access and a decent camera but I want something a bit more stylish. I just wanted to see if it's possible to get the 6133 and use it with cingy and how do I go about this?
