Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133

I just got it today and am still playing with it some...is there any way to set it to where it does not do the ascending ring tone? I have it set on the profile and tones for "ringing" not "ascending", but it still does it. And some people said they could not use MP3's as ringtones, but my phone is letting me do it. Don't know if it's a setting or what, but I'm using it off of my memory card. So, if there's any way to change it to where it will not ascend on the ring tone and message alert, that would be great! Thanks! OH, and is there any way to change the external screen's font color? And it's funny how everything is European...like font colour and organiser...haha

See a lot of discussion about 6133 (TMobile) but wondered if anyone bought and is actively using the 6126, the US version of the 6131, that Cingular clearly may never pick-up. Wondering if the same problems are occuring with the 6126 as with the 6133...

I have an unlocked 6131 and I use CINGULAR, what does "Flashing" a mobile phone mean and how can I do it?

My unlocked 6131 for Cingular network cannot receive video MMS. I can send video MMS fine and receive photo's. Someone tell me why?

It would seem that t-mobile has removed the e-mail access from the phone.

Now I could be wrong about this.. and I hope I am, but I canoot find a way to choose e-mail as an option to send pictures or text from the 6133.

Well I don't really need to add a review because most of you know how good the phone is. I do however have a question. That is the BATTERY!
Yeah I know the battery life sucks and all that. But, I can't get my dang charger to stay in. Is there an alternate charger other than the one you plug in at the top, ie one that goes where the headset plugs into? If not, any tips or tricks to get it to stay in there and not have to check it every ten minutes to make sure its charging? What about extended battery? Anyway just a few questions that I had and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Did anybody put videos on the 6131 ????? All my videos play slower than the audio or only the audio plays.. Help me out if anybody uses the media functions on this phone heavy like me..

i dont want to have to buy a separate USB cable which costs 50 bucks. my 6682 from cingular included a USB cable... can i use it with the 6131?

On the TMOB version wmas and themes that are saved to the memory card can they still be used or do they have to be saved to the phone memory?

i ordered my 6131 and it frequently loses all service and then gives it back 5 mins later. anyone else having this problem?

I went into cingular today to upgrade to the Cingular 3125 and they had an ad for the Nokia 6126. I asked the cingular reps and they said mid-November.

Is this the First Series 40 phone to have the new UI. IS there any others. I really liked the new UI in the In-Depth Review.

Anyone else get an asian/european charger with theirs or know if a US charger works OK?

Also...if I take the phone to cingular will they set up service and functions (MMS. etc.) or should I renew my service with them, then transfer my sim card and download functions myself?

I wish to purchase Jamdat games with my phone. I go to jamdat website where it gives u a webaddress where u can download and purchase. however the links all return can not browse path/forbidden. is there a way to download the jar file itself and upload using the software? is there a way to get to cigular media site by some options? thanks

I read one review of the 6131 that said the bluetooth stereo is actually mono. Is this the case with a standard stereo headset too? I hope not. Also, they mentioned that the interior display does not use protective glass, does anyone feel that this would present a problem? I am interested in getting the T-Mobile 6133 and would like to know if anyone can shed some light on the subject. Here's the review:

Does the 6133 have the 16.7 million color screen too? Because the e62 is listed as having one but it doesn't. Btw, if you have the phone how amazing is the screen?

Finally picked up my 6133 today! Thanks to a very nice & resourceful T-Mo employee who found out how to special order them! Actually they found out afterwards that they were only supposed to be ordering them for new activations, NOT upgrades (Which I think is horrible for Tmo to give priority to a new customer over a loyal long time customer!) and they won't be able to do any more orders except for new activations. That's just what I was told. Maybe some of you might also get lucky and find someone willing to help. I paid $130 including renewing my contract for 2 years. I also switched to a Myfaves plan.
