Nokia 6126 / 6131 / 6133

I can't decide whether I should wait until the 6133 comes out or get the V3i now. I can get a V3i for free (I'm pretty sure) or the 6133 will probably be about $100. They both look good to me, I want good reception a decent music player along with reasonable durability. Free sounds good, but a few people I have talked to think Nokias are better phones. Anybody have an opinion?

Has anyone been able to setup email with the 6131? I haven't got it working yet.

does this phone play mp3s as ringtones?

can you recieve/send emails? is it easy/fast?

Ok this phone does not have tetris and i HAVE to have tetris, it's how i make it through school and work everyday, anybody know where I can download tetris and maybe some other applications, cingular won't let me because it says theres nothing available for this phone model, but wat the idiots dont realize is that its java so it doesnt matter what phone!

Had nokia send me the settings but i still cant get online it says i must subscribe to packet data first....anybody know the solution?

just wondering if there is any new info on release and price info for the 6133?

again, i just wanted to see if anybody can clairify the diffrences between the 6126/ 6131 and 6133?
i figure if i'm going to break down and buy one, i might as well get the fully loaded model with ALL the toys.
my contract w/ tmob is up on oct. 5, and i am considering switching to cingular. (looking at the v3i, the 8125, and this one...)any info would be great.

Ok I purchased a Nokia 6131 on eBay to use with Cingular and received the phone yesterday. I went to Nokia's website and downloaded the settings so I can text, mms, and get online. The problems I am having with the phone so far are:

1. Ringtones: I have a ringtone converter downloaded and in the past on other phones the tone sounds great. On this phone it sounds like crap! Really fuzzy and hard to understand the words. But the music tones that are preloaded on the phone sound fine and clear. The only thing I can figure is the tones I downloaded say amr after them instead of aac - could this be the difference? If so how do I make tones aac?

Just got my Nokia 6131 and first off, looks beautiful.

Its sound quality is sub par. My Nokia 6030 was by far much better.

Battery life no problems. Not sure what people are complaining about and I talk a lot.

Voicemail Icon Issues with Cingular: i have the 64k chip and i get vmails and txt msgs. so no worries.

Bluetooth works well. I have a Nokia BH-900 and it sounds perfect and the other person has no clue. Also cool feature is that my headset's charger works with my phone as well.

Camera: very clear

Yeah so only con so far is sound quality.

My only problem is that incoming calls show the number instead of the name. Anyone know how to fix that?

How do I fix this? I want it to show me their names only.

I just watched the video on the 6126 on the "In Depth" section. Is the 6133 the same? How is it different?

anyone know if this phone supports wallpaper and themes or just themes?

So if i were to buy this and insert my Cingular 64K chip, the phone should let me know when I get a new voicemail?

Yesterday in the Annapolis Mall T-Mobile store they had the 6133 on display with the pricing info up. On the sign it had a sticker that said "SPECIAL ORDER ONLY". Nobody in the store knew why but I suppose it was because they still don't have them to sell yet. Anyway, the regular price on the sign was $199 and the price for new accounts (and should also be the price for qualifying upgrades) is $99. That was good news to see that since a few weeks ago I almost bought a 6131 on ebay for $250. One employee at the store told me he thinks they pushed the release back to October 2nd (as someone else on this forum already mentioned) to coincide with new rate plans that T-Mobile is coming out with. Where's the best place to get games for this phone, since I can't go to Cingular to get them? I'm looking for a good baseball game.

Cingular has the Derek Jeter one which is pretty good. If I have the jar for that game, would it run on this phone if I got the data cable?
