Sending pix to the phone for wallpaper.
I have an LG VX 8300 with Verizon America's Choice service. What is the best method to send a picture to the phone for use as wallpaper (either on the front screen or the main screen)? Can I email it the phone using my-phone-number@vzwpix.com as the email address, or do I need to buy their wired kit? I don't have bluetooth on my PC and don't have the inface (wired) kit. Thanks.

You cannot send anything directly from your pc to your cell phone according to the person I talked on the phone @ Verizon.
They said customer's where getting spam & viruses so they put the kabosh to it.
You can put them on www.vzwpix.com (need to sign up there) & drag pix from you pc to your vzwpix acct.
Our you could get a reader for your micro S card, hook it to your pc & put in on the card & then put your card in your phone & save the pic.
Good Luck!

The other reply is right - the easiest/best way is with a card reader. My computer has a built in 15-in-1 reader, but I also picked up a SanDisk Mobilmate 5-in-1 the other day. It runs $15-20 normally, but was on sale for $10 last week at RadioShack. Unlike the reader in my PC, this one can take the microsd without the SD adapter. Plus, it's the size of a USB drive, so it's very portable.
Don't believe Verizon about the spam. Every move they've made is designed to stop the consumer from being able to put content on their cell unless they pay Verizon a fee to do it. They want you to buy their song or picture.
