Hey, whats up with:
1) none of VZW's documents for the VX8300 showing the bluetooth a2dp/stereo bluetooth profile as a feature.
2) Is it gonna play both wma's and mp3's? I keep hearing different answers. I even heard it will only play mp3's. how could this be possible if VCAST Music uses the windows media player, and wma?

Well if i was Verizon, no way would i advertise that the OBEX is active either. I haven't heard any mention that this phone will be a Vcast music phone but it does have mp3 support.

How is it possible that any new phone of this caliber would not be a Vcast music phone? besides, I heard that it list' VCAST Music in Verizon's internal website as a feature of this phone. And Verizon didn't say it has OBEX.......Verizon Wireless's advertisements, which haven't been released to the general public says "OPP" for VCARD only.

it IS vcast music. it states it all over the internal stuff. it will definetly use wma's, copyright protected ones at that. but i don't have any solid info regarding mp3 playback. even if it has it i'm sure vzw wouldn't advertise it cause they want to push the vcast music using wma's. as for the obex i'm kinda not sure. i'll quote the launch package.

well anymore updated info regarding an actual date, rather than just depending on sale through of the vx8100? Will it at least be released by june13th, when vz navigator is ready for it?

as i mentioned before, there may be no "release date" it could come out different days for different regions depending on stock. i'm still saying around mid june but thats just a guess.
