I have gone through 3 bluetooth headsets and all have bad static problems 😈
Can anyone tell me which bluetooth headset works with this phone?
Is their a current software out there that will help with this problem. If so, what is it?

I use the Logitech Traveler model F-0399A. It works well with the 8300, once you figure out how to position it on your ear. I also have used the Motorola H700....great ID but poor performance form some reason. One other point....make sure you've updated the 8300 with latest s/w. My B/T service worked much better after I updated my phone.

I tried several headsets and settled on the Logitech Mobile Traveller. I have been using it for months. I do notice a bit of improvement on my end after recently getting the v03 upgrade to my phone. One thing I notice is that I am able to turn up the volume, with less static on my end, after the upgrade. The call quality has been consistently good for the receiver of my calls - yes, I ask frequently.

8300 is a great phone, but if you read through all these forum pages, you will see that the Bluetooth on this phone is definately not the best it could be. The Plantronics 330 is a fairly low priced headset and works great with the 8300.
