Sanyo SCP-3100

I'm considering buying a sanyo 3100 and i need to know this-

If ure in the middle of typing a txt and you receive a new message does it quit the txt and go into the new message automatically or does it let u finish writing ure txt and let u open it when u want?

Could it be any less visually appealing? Maybe when they start working with Nokia they will be even uglier. I like the quality of Sanyo and Nokia, but they do not have the corner on the looks market.

Help! I've checked everywhere online and with Sprint's tech department and no one can find the information I need. I refuuuuse to pay the minimum charge of $5.00 per month to get my pictures off this phone. I saw in the info section on this site that there is a USB option but no one can tell me exactly what I need to upload the pictures directly from my phone to my computer without going through Sprint. Anyone have an answer?

Look, Sanyo's are known for their quality, not looks. Sounds like Honda cars were until recently. Ugly, cookie-cutter looks but it didn't stop the cattle-herd minded masses from buying boat loads of them for their QUALITY.

Get over it people, This phone is only $10 more than the butt-ugly 2300, with a larger screen in and out and a camera. Colors look great, too. The espresso is surprising good looking.

Just wait until you see the Katana (razr-like), it is similar in looks to the razr too, but Sanyo's quality DESTROYS Motorola.

I love Sanyo to death as far as quality of phones and signal strength goes(Non "entry level models")..but for the past year, they havent offered ANYTHING new. Every phone they come out with is a rehash of a different model. They used to offer the best mid-high end phones Sprint had a few years ago..now all they do is eat 2 phones and sh*t out a similar model. I used to wish Sanyo developed for Verizon, but now I'm pretty glad they dont

Nice update to the 2300. Adds a camera and a better external display without going overboard. Being Sanyo, going to be the quality we are used to. Sanyo and Nokia are merging for CDMA handsets. That is going to be interesting.
