Cracked screen
Has anyone had a problem with this phone's screen and just cracking? I have a buddy that's phone's screen just cracked and there are just lines through the screen. He was just checking a text message,put it back into the screen and then put it back into his holster and the next time he checked it that is how it was. Any ideas

take it to cingular, if they consider it accidental they will repair it for free. If not, they'll tell him its from user abuse and not covered under warranty and he'll have to pay. Your friend could also purchase a screen off ebay and install it himself, if he's not comfortable with doing that then have him check out www.pocketpctechs.com that will replace the screen.

you could also go directly thru HTC and they'll replace the screen for $165, I had a customer do that a few weeks ago, just be sure you have a phone that you can throw your sim into in the meantime, it'll take about 2 weeks for them to repair it and send it back to you.
