My ISP (isp.cingular)will not let you connect to the internet anymore after the ROM update. Any ideas? I've verified that all settings are correct. wap.cingular works. I have pda unliimited plan......

Does anyone know what software is needed to allow you to view youtube? Please advise...

Here is my problem i talk on my bluetooth headset or the headset that came with the phone, but keeps tell me its really loud and that my tv in the background is really loud or the music. I know its not loud b/c i can barely hear it so i was wondering if there is anyway to turn down the input volume on the phone when using a headset using normal OS or some third party application like a different interface or something.

My friend recently gave me an 8525 htc. I had it unlocked locally, as I am a T-mobile subscriber. I cannot figure out how to get the email/internet to work. Once more when I ordered a ring tone from the tmobile web site, it was sent to the phone, but I cannot download it. If someone has a box of crayons and can spell it out for me I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm interested in getting the 8525 but I'm still apprehensive about dropping over $400 for it because I'm a bit worried that AT&T is going to come out a better PDA in the next few months and I don't want to be stuck w/ an outdated piece of technology. Also the fact that AT&T isn't willing to insure phones that cost over $400 in retail is absolutely ludicrous. Is it worth it? Or should I wait?


Oh and how else can I get a phone like this insured?

I recently purchased an iPhone but have not opened it. I have been looking around now after reading the forums on the iPhone page and have thought about getting a different phone. The iPhone, isn't that feature packed. So should I go for this or stay with that?

I was wondering what brand of memory would be the best for this phone.

It looks like the 8525 will beat the Treo 750 with a faster processor and more memory.

Any thoughts of why one would buy the Treo 750 ( whenever it comes out) over the 8525?

i currently own the 8525 and love the way the curve looks and the reviews on it are amazing!!! i just dont know what to do. i know i will miss the touch screen but at the same time the track ball is an amazing tool? thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Not to be a pain, but is this phone upgradable to Windows Mobile 6? That's a pretty major requirement for me, as if i'm going to shell out a ton of money, i want the newer OS. Will there be a version with WM6 preloaded?

Has anyone had a problem with this phone's screen and just cracking? I have a buddy that's phone's screen just cracked and there are just lines through the screen. He was just checking a text message,put it back into the screen and then put it back into his holster and the next time he checked it that is how it was. Any ideas

I have an unlocked cingular 8525 that I use with t-mobile service...I was wondering if I can install the t-mobile wm6 upgrade for the MDA on my 8525. Has anyone tried this? If yes, then please let me know if it can be done..thanks.

I recently installed TCPMP which allows streaming music, flawlessly. However, when I try to use Bluetooth, and push the "answer" button, the music plays in the headset for about 3 seconds, and then that dastardly "Voice Speed Dial/there is no trained voice tag" program opens up and the music stops!!! Is there a way to permanently delete that function, or at least make it so it does not pop up uninvited? Is there another or better way to get music to play through Bluetooth as opposed to the phone's speaker? Thanks to all.

The sound has disappeared!

Sound just stops for no reason. Have to restarted the device several times, but still no sound. I can't seem to find what it is. Any suggestions! HELP!!!

My email stopped on my 8525. I still have old emails in the Inbox, so nothing got erased. I just can't send or receive anything, even when I go to Send/Receive. I get an S7109 Error Msg. Short of calling the numbskulls @ Cingular Tech Support, who are notably inept, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me how to input extension numbers after a main telephone number in Contacts. I've tried a !, which is what I've used before, and it didn't work. Or I didn't do it right. Help, please, anyone? Thank you.
