HTC TyTN / 8525 / JasJam (Hermes)

I,m using a Sony IV835 and it is not working well at all....A lot of static and dropped connections ! Any suggestions?

i have both my sim card contacts and my phone contacts showing on my phone how could i delete the phone contacts. i only want to keep my sim contacts. 😡

I put the 8525 instruction manual on my memory card....the Pdf viewer in the phone will not open it..! Any ideas??

Why won't the BT GPS receiver that you buy from Cingular work with Google maps or windows live?

I saw a link on HTC with the 8525 with the ROM updated, is this the same one that ya'll are talking about?

Microsoft Voice Command will not work with this phone over bluetooth headsets. MS and HTC will not patch this problem any time soon or at all.

MS is basically saying it is impossible to fix.
This is a key feature for anyone who wants to use this large phone while driving!

Do not buy this phone if you plan on driving and using it. Get one that is Compatible with Voice Command or which comes with its own Voice software (Blackberry Pearl)

You can try some registry change and hacks but you will never get this phone working 100% correctly.
Huge delays and Nothing will be announced over Bluetooth, it will come through the phones speaker.

on some phones, i've found that the ppl i talk to notice that they hear a clicking distraction while i talk to them....what they usually dont know is that i'm texting while talking. nevertheless, does this phone make a clicking noise heard by the other party when txt'ing? my blackberyy doesn't, but almost all samsungs i've tried do. wondering if this htc does as well.

Any way to improve on the earpiece volume of the 8525? It definitely isn't as loud and clear as the Blackjack.

Hey guys my 8525 constantly has the "G" as the connection icon. It will change to "U" when it gets in a umts range, but it never shows an "E". Is it still connected to the edge network even though it only shows G or what is the deal. thanks

Does anyone know how to manipulate the font on the Today Screen?
I would like to make the font bold so it may appear better in bright lights. I don’t necessarily want to make it bigger, though.

Has anyone experienced problems with their 8525 and Mobile Windows? My first 8525 started having Windows problems whereby screen would switch constantly, making clicking noises and disconnecting while making calls. Cingular gave me another new 8525, and that one did the exact same thing after 1 week. Cingular tells me they're having a minimal problem with the 8525 (mostly software issues) but doesn't tell how they can remedy it. I really liked the 8525, however went over to the PALM Windows 750 after researching phones and service problems (750 doesnt havent any).

Can you use a GPS receiver with windows live?

the new 4gb SDHC will be out by the end of the year.. will it work with the 8525?

i just bought my 8525 and it is not picking my 2gb card up.

i am almost 100% positive i am going to purchase some variant of the HTC TYTN (either the 8525 or the JasJam) and was wondering if "Open Office" has a mobile application compatible with this device ..

my office is moving away from the Microsoft based utilities and (as most "progressive" companies are) embracing open source ..

if this device cannot support it, i think i may need to re-consider my choice ..
