Almost there
Pantech hit it out of the park on this one with a few omissions. All in all, the build feels solid if a little plastic, the speakers are great for any phone and the skin is actually useful instead of a hindrance. Wish it came upgraded with JB, but still a pleasure to use.
PROS:
*Size feels good in your hand and THIN
*KB is very good
*Speakers are GREAT
*Screen is bright and easy to see even in sunlight
*Processor is fast with no lag
CONS:
*Very few accessories
*Pantech is not well known so there is very little development (XDA-Developers)
*This is the most glaring one - still on Android 4.0. Will be a real contender once it hit JB.
Spot On....
I would give this phone a 5 star if it wasn't for the plastic materials used..no polycarbonate ...The removable back cover exposing the battery, sim card and sd card are paramount in my book. The large font ,graphics etc.. are perfect for myself with limited eyesight but does not take away from the sophistication of the phone...Smart and Nice....
The fact that Pantech included expandable memory up to 32Gigs is a big plus for myself.
The battery's 2100MAh is spot on and seems like it could last 24 with no hiccups.......YES....
The price is right on .........
The speakers seem like a future innovation for Pantech and other smartphone manufactuers or they should consider this in their builds anyway...
I am crossed between this phone , Lumia 920 or the NEW HTC ONE.....Hard decision for me to make but I will wait until March 2013 when the HTC ONE comes to the marketplace to make my decision...
I am going insane because of the amount of time I have spent researching smartphones but the learning curve in the process has been just short of extraordinary......
Might I mention Phonescoop has been a vital and valuable tool in my research...THANK YOU PHONESCOOP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good Work....
