Works well for the money, great value.
Carrier: Cricket
I recently switched from AT&T to Cricket because I cannot afford to have smartphones on AT&T anymore, but Cricket is affordable and the coverage similar in most places. I spent only $29.99, but got a far better device than what I thought I could afford.
1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit processor by Qualcomm and a 4.5-inch qHD screen for less than other phones in the lineup that were newer, but didn't boast as much on the specs end. Compare to the LG Spree, which is a year newer, and costs $50 more, but has a Snapdragon 210 instead of the Snapdragon 410, and has a WVGA screen instead of qHD.
One charge of the battery lasts me almost three or four days. I have been using this device for three months now, and have not had any issues at all. It took a little getting used to, but it was a short learning curve, and now I am a pro at navigating stock Android. This device had to be updated once out of the box, and got Android 5.1.
Pros:
- entry-level/mid-range specs for bargain barrel price
- easy to navigate: stock Android experience
- dual SIM slots, not sure if more than one works
- removable bumper is easy to handle
- screen is crystal clear indoors
Cons:
- can't work the screen purely one-handed, too large (what can I say, I have small hands!)
- camera is acceptable, but lacks a flash... this seems strange to be missing such an important part of imaging system... still got better pictures with my old Nokia E75
- non-removable battery makes me a little nervous
- screen suffers from some glare outdoors in sunlight
I am in South-central PA, York/Lancaster/Harrisburg area, and there is great coverage everywhere, except LTE in my house. Always showing only one or two bars in the house. When LTE drops out, I get excellent HSPA signal, even in my basement, but the constant switching from LTE to HSPA can be maddening. The camera is also a little disappointing, though I am comparing it to my Nokia E75 which had a flash, and took better photos even with lower resolution.

This phone is a steal!
Carrier: Cricket
I am using this on cricket running Android 5.02. I am coming from Sprint using a Samsung Galaxy S4.
I have been using the moto e 2nd generation for approx 2 months.
The form factor of the phone is perfect for me. Fits in a pocket nicely and grip is excellent compared to the designer phones which only strive to look sleek.
Screen is nice and bright and easily navigated.
Very little bloatware which was a pleasant surprise coming from a Sprint phone.
LTE is nice and fast and Chrome is superb.
There is nothing bad except the camera in this phone. While the camera is adequate, it certainly can't compare with the upper end phones.
For $79.99 this phone is an absolute steal!
I actually prefer it to the S4.
Battery life is amazing!!!!!
