Motorola Droid Turbo 2
Phone Scoop Review
Nov 5, 2015 by Eric M. Zeman
The Turbo 2 is the most advanced Droid Motorola has ever created for Verizon Wireless. The handset boasts an "unbreakable" screen and two days of battery life, making it ideal for clumsy oafs who need all-day power. The Turbo 2 runs Android and includes Motorola's helpful apps, such as Ambient Display and Moto Assist. Here is Phone Scoop's in-depth report. read review ›

Excellent second phone.
Full disclaimer here. This is my second smartphone. I'm comparing it to a galaxy s5 as far as direct experience in usability is concerned (well, that and a few iPhones and a cheap Lumia). I do work customer service for a phone company and follow tech news, though.
Pros:
-This is actually a very attractive phone, contrary to popular belief. The black face is attractive, and the customizability is excellent.
-Very quick, easily keeping pace with or blazing past essentially any phone I compared it to.
-Motorola's software is genuinely helpful and excellent. Coming from Samsung, I was extremely happy about the moto display and gesture commands. They drastically enhance the experience.
-Battery life is incredible. 4+ nonstop hours of playing Hearthstone or emulating games (MASSIVE battery drainers), and it was still at 30-40%.
-This is attractive and doesn't need a case. A broken premium phone is not attractive anymore.
-Battery charges in minutes and tells you how much longer it will take.
-Expandable memory with SD card slot makes for easy storage.
-The screen is bright enough for all but direct sunlight. Auto-adjustment is very good, too.
Cons:
-Battery not removable. I liked having a spare around for my gs5.
-Not waterproof. It's rugged, but not waterproofed? Missed opportunity.
-No fingerprint scanner. Not necessary, but very convenient. The facial recognition doesn't work, either.
-It felt slightly big for me at first.
-Plenty of bloatware, so you're slightly inconvenienced by disabling or uninstalling it. Takes less than an hour. Not actually an issue for people who aren't looking for something to complain about.
-Don't get the white face version. The sensors and check mark are too obvious and unattractive on it.
Tl;dr: If you want a premium phone and aren't married to apple's ecosystem (and aren't made of money), get this. It looks better than an iPhone or Samsung in a case, and works just as well. Only downside is no fingerprint scanner.

FINALLY!
Finally! Memory card slot is available! Let me give you a brief recap.....
PROS:
1 - Great Feel - wouldn't say it's the most premium feeling, but very substantial. Metal frame is great in the hand.
2 - Battery LIFE IS AMAZING! Just try running down ~3700 mah of battery!!!
3 - MICRO SD! FINALLY! Not a deal breaker for some, but let me tell you, finally a moto that gives you expandable memory back. (top tier specs)
4 - PROCESSOR is quick and zippy, no lag at all. AMAZING!
5 - Shatterproof! Enough said.
6 - Moto Maker!!! Customizable
CONS:
1 - Screen is sharp, but dimmer than competitors. (S6 / G4 / Even Note 4)
2 - Battery Not Removable - while the battery life is great, the removable battery warrants some concern.
Great, responsive phone. Signal is fitting of legendary Motorola radios. Finally SD card, quick processor, as close to stock android as possible on Verizon. GET THIS PHONE!
