i just got this phone, pretty cool except for the backlight turning off way too quick. 🤨 from what i have read there is not way of adjusting this feature, the preset is 15 secs. they set this to save battery life. i guess my ? is, is that true can not be adjusted?, if not, i purchased my phone thru radioshack, would i return it there or do i call att? any help is appreciated..

can you set 5300 ringtones or music that you have put on the phone as ringtones or is it like the 6133 and you cant?

Week in and week out, Nokia releases phones that I absolutely drool over 🤤 . If Nokia ever released a top-end phone for Verizon (the Nokia 6315i doesn't count) I think I would be in heaven. Nokia for President!

I have searched the knowledge base and support sections on at&t's and Nokia's sites for the N75. I can't find anything about this maybe you can help. In previous Nokia models I've used there was a "Recently Used" option to enter numbers or email addresses in the TO: block on a text message. I don't see this on the N75. The only way to select a send to destination is to go through the address book or to type in the number manually. Am I missing something? Any NOKIA fans out there notice this and have a solution?

hi does anyone know when nokia's going to release there n85 and the nokia musicxpress slide in the states? i was going to go with the sidekick but the new one's don't seem much different for the old sidekicks.

i just got a nokia 1600 and a symbol showed up at the top of the screen that looks like two circles. does anyone know what this means or how i can fix it?

Hi. I just joined the forum. I'm an ATT customer. (I hope you won't hold that against me.) I want to get rid of my old Motorola V551. Here are my primary criteria:

1. Good voice dialing for when I'm driving.
2. Bluetooth for when I'm driving.
3. Quadband for traveling in USA and abroad.
4. Hopefully, under $200.

I'm over sixty years old, so ... as you may have guessed ... I do NOT care about camera, video, internet, etc..

I would consider an ATT Nokia or an unlocked GSM model (6126 or other). Is the 6126 a good voice dialer? Other suggestions?

Can anyone tell me how to change the housing on a Nokia E62? I bought a new housing. I took off the battery cover and took out the four screws, but am afraid to force the front housing off. Anyone know how to get this off without destroying anything?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just won a Nokia N95 with the BH-801 headset - Yeah for my teen daughter, maybe not so Yeah for my pocketbook! 🙄 I prefer a straight up cell phone - she loves gadgets..anyways:
I am trying to read everyone's posts about the N95 and it appears that only AT&T will be able to offer us a plan for use of this phone, is that correct?
And what does all those acronyms mean that I see y'all typing? ABCDX, CDPH? Sorry, I can't remember what they are! 🤭
If so, does anyone here have any info on what these plans are? I'm assuming that there would be the regular monthly phone/minutes/texting charges but what else would or should I consider "turning on" for this phone? Is there such a...

I have a problem.
I have 2(two)- 6102 phones. One I just bought because i cant see a thing on my old screen, its broke completely.
I want/need to switch the sim card from the old to the new, BUT, my numbers have not yet been saved on my sim card of the old phone, and if i switch them, I'll lose it all.
Can anyone who owns a 6102, walk me through, pretending i'm a total "blind" man, to the point of reaching the "use phone and sim card" menu choice, so that I can then save it and exchange the card from one phone to the other.

I need help deciding between the E61i or Blackberry Curve. Any thoughts?

I would like to setup wireless email with my yahoo and hotmail account and have it "pushed" to me on the phone (not necessarily instantly like blackberry push, but every 20 minutes is ok).

I recently purchased the n95. GREAT PHONE!!! I have a Motorola H700 headset, but am looking for something less bulky and more compatible, with features.

I have been looking at the Samsung WEP200 and the Palm 3265WW.

Hello just bought a Nokia 6131. Nice phone but I cant work out how to enable caller ID. IE: if someone who is in my contact list calls me I want the phone to display their name if they call. Can anyone assist - it would be very much appreciated.

Which one to buy? The 6085 seems "sturdier", but seems to have a "in a can" sound. The 6126 sounds somewhat better, but doesnt seem as sturdy. Will be taking some abuse by a truck driver. Camera quality is nice, but not essential. My concern is that everyone says 6126 is better, but what about the difference in battery life from 6085? 6085 has 5 hrs vs 3.5? not good. any advice? 😕

If you have not heard of this phone start reading up on it, Its the sleek look and style of your 6126 with the talk time of some much older models...(6 hours) If thats not all it has a 2 meg camera, External mp3 player buttons, and fm radio, just to give it that kick that your 6126 just did not have. It's comming out this Fall supposedly, and I think it may be the next big thing for those of us who are not needing the complexity of the N75 or E62. but still want somthing to show off. It is said to be only for Europe but today if you read the news it was announced an American version was Aproved by the FCC. The Nokia 6263.
