I just purchased a Nokia E61, and live in the USA. I use Tmobile as a carrier and have all the support from them. My problem is, I can not get the WIFI to work. or even turn it on for that matter.

Does anyone else have this problem??? do I have to flash the OS in order to get it to work? According with the manual, I can go into SETTINS, CONNECTIVITY and turn WLAN on or off. However, when I am in CONNECTIVITY, i can not see any icon with WLAN.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Anyone in the US using this service? how do I set it up? Do I need to get a Blackberry service? When contacting RIM BLACKBERRY, they mentioned to me that the phone NOKIA E61, does not support Blackberry email.

for some reason i can't find the nokia 6280 on this site, so i'm asking some pros out there whether they think the rizr is better or the 6280.

i've heard forum complaints about the rizr's speakers being "weak" and camera quality doesn't match a 2mp's.

i've heard that nokia 6280 has a tendency to "hang" for no reason but their versions were like old and i have the updated version and haven't experienced any "hang" yet.

*i currently have the 6280 but i haven't used it for talktime yet, i'm using the cingular sim card on my old L7. therefore, i'm still able to return this phone for a rizr if it's really better than the 6280. feedbacks from all you experienced phone techies please! 🙂

Anyone used this yet ? I used the 2600 unlocked that came out for Tracfone and the speakerphone was so quiet I sold it. This looks sharp, just hoping its loud.

I'm considering buying either a Sony Ericsson K800i/790a or an N73, and I just have two easy issues/questions which I hope you can answer for me. I'm a T-Mobile customer in Maryland with the full (ripoff) internet package, btw.

1. I currently use a T-Mobile Dash, and e-mail is the main reason. I have three active e-mail accounts that I send and receive messages with via the Dash. One is a Gmail account, the other are corporate POP accounts. How does the N73's e-mail application stack up? Does it send and receive automatically? Does it have separate boxes for each account?

2. Does the N73 sync well with Mac's? I use my Powerbook G4 (final generation of the G series) on the road and use it to sync my iPod and my Dash, so sy...

I just picked up the Nokia E50 from the Nokia flagship store in NYC. Trying to decide which is the best data plan to order from Cingular -- but also totally open to switching to another carrier if one of their plans makes more sense.

I am thinking of exchanging for this phone would you answer a couple of questions for me? In the alert tones and tones does the tone 'cackle" appear and does "soulful" appear. I have not been able to find a working model to play with. Also can you use the voice recorder to record and set your own ringtone?

I am looking for another phone for my father. He still the Nokia6010 but he needs a new phone. I want another Nokia for him so he wont have to learn anything new. I invite all suggestions. I tried the 6102i myself and didn't really like the slow GUI or trying to situate the phone to my ear to be able to hear or the low volume. Is the Nokia 6126 the same way? THANK YOU

I have recently purchased the Nokia 5300 and 5200 from web sights that claim these phones are unlocked.

However neither phone will connect to Cingular's network. Further, neither phone is on Cingular's list of supported phones, so they can't or won't send the code to activate the phones.

What gives??? How can I work around this???

Tight cool phone.

I just bought a Nokia 6133 and I need to sync it to my PC for contacts, etc. I up loaded the new ver. of PC suite 6 and have been using a DKU-5 cable w/ driver from the older Nokia 6800 phone that I had. The phone will not establish a connection. Do I need a new cable or what? Does anyone know?

I recently got a Nokia 6225, which I'm very happy with. When I was looking for phones, I checked out the 6016i. Although I didn't get that phone, I really liked one of the ringers which was installed on the phone by way of a file called sticks.mid. Would it be possible for anyone here who has the 6016i to copy that file (sticks.mid) from the phone and send it to me?

i just bought a new nokia 8801 and i love it. i was just wondering if there is someone who can answer some questions about my phone:
1. i though this phone came with email capability? cuz i read it online that it did.
2. i read that there are more than one series of the 8800. if so what are they? and where can i get the themes from all of them to put on my 8801?

I used to have access to the 250 mp3 songs on my card as ring tones, but now the only ring tone options are Downloads or the Nokia standard ring tones.

Nokia Tech Support (level 2) said I am mistaken and you can't use the mp3 songs as ring tones. But, I remember being able to do so prior to my bumbling around with the folders.

Is there a folder I can move back or create so I can access the gallery? When trying to assign a ring tone to a specific contact, there are no folders that allow access to my mp3 songs (that are on my card).

I have already reformatted the phone twice……no joy. I can probably move an mp3 song from my card to the phone memory but after a few songs I would surely use up my limited phone memory space. Is it...
