Anyone see the Nokia N80.. man what a phone!!! all the nokia phone are either dirt cheap... or really expensive... all the high end cool phones are in europe and asia! this country sucks with phones!

So I posted this in the 6682 forum, but this one might be a bit more active....


Ok, so one of my customers who bought a 6682 from me also has a tungsten T5 and wants to tether them together to surf the web on the palm device. When he tries to pair them, the palm is asking for a 'passkey.' Its not 0000 or 1234 like it would be with most other devices...I searched thru the on-line manual for the 6682 and came up with a 'bluetooth address' for the phone but that isn't what its looking for. After looking at palms site I discovered that the 6682 is not a supported device for the T5....which is what I think the problem is.


Anyone out there have any experience with this particular problem? Any help would be great.

My nokia 6620 has alot of scratches and i would like to know where i can get new faceplates for it or if a faceplate for a 6600 would be compatible with it. Some one please reply soon.

I just got this phone a few days ago, and while I think it's by far the best phone I've ever had, it (and me) are having growing problems.

First question is really dumb but I have to ask it. When the phone is brand new out of the box, does it have the sticky clear film covering the screen? I ask because mine didn't and it had some very small scratches in the screen, but the sales guy at the "authorized retailer" cingular store said it was new. I got a great deal on the phone so I thought nothing of it at the time.

I just got the 6255i Nokia phone and bought a MMC KingMax 512 card from Newegg and it isn't recognized. How do I make it work? On the site of the Card at Newegg the people said that it works great on their 6255i phone. I can see it on the card reader but not in phone. Nokia Tech support said they don't recomend anything over 256 🤣 Thank you for your help.

HELP! I have a Nokia 3120 cell phone and yesterday when I was using it I somehow pressed a button that put my phone on "headset" and now i cant figure out how to change it back! Now when people call me I cant hear them because I am on headset without any headphones. How do I change this??!!

my nokia 3660 is completely shutdown. it just won't start. when i press the power switch it shows the nokia name & shuts down. Someone told me its a software problem. i just need to recover my data. any idea where can i get the software & how to reload it.

I am able to load hundred of songs on the 6256i with the 2GB MMC card installed. They play great one at a time but I can't figure out how to get a playlist so several play in sequence. Any Ideas? The Nokia PC Suite software isn't much of a help.
I have Verizon.

SOmething that is not released in the USA. i am looking on some european sits but i cant tell if its been released in america. I have been putting off upgrading my phone for a LONG time, and recently I was very interested in the 6682. Not only did it seem to have most everything anyone would want, but it had something that I would find invaluable...the ability to view MS Excel files.

Ever since the issues arose with the 6682, and the availability was questionable, I began to rethink things. I am now leaning towards the N80, however, I truly would like the ability to view (or even modify if that is possible) Excel files on my phone. I am not looking for a full blown PDA, or other large expensive device.

I was wondering if anyone knows what other phones (aside from the 9300...not feeling that one) have the ability to read (or modify) excel documents. I h...

NOKIA's cell phones are for the inexperienced cell phone user. If you are over 15 you should not own a NOKIA. The phones are all huge and boring. They don't make flips at all were the market should be. There phones are lacking in a complex software base. If anyone is considering getting a new service plan i would highly advise against a NOKIA. Also, all of their phones have that same boring and dull styling. I really hate that company.
