I need info if where i can buy a unlock sony ericsson z500a that i can use my t-mobile sim card.

Just wondering if anybody did theSony Ericsson Train and Gain the EDGE incentive program? I recieved my prizes last week. This was by far the best incentive program from a manufacturer ever!! I received $1700.00 dollars to spend on sonystyle.com. When the program started I received a S710a for free too. Off of sonystle.com I ordered a Vaio A-Series laptop, a T7 cybershot camera, and a 400 disc DVD player. Thanks SE!!

I'm thinking about getting this HCB-300 car kit. The only thing is I want to know it's going to work as well as expected seeing as how it's $200 on the Sony Ericsson website. If anyone can get to me with some feedback on this it would be much appreciated.

i have the settings from tech support but the interface on the phone is unfamiliar to me
i've loaded them on to motorola phone without a problem but this one is a mess

I am attempting to connect my pda(ipaq3115) to my Sony Ericsson S710a, via the bluetooth to get on the internet.
The settings I was given were
Username: ISPDA@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Passwd: CINGULAR1
Phone #: *99***1#
Extra String: &f&d2&c1+cgdcont=1,"IP","isp.cingular"
These work wonderfully on the v3, v551, and the 6230 nokia, but will not work on any s710a in our store.
I have tried in place of the 1 using 2, 3, etc....
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I own a Cingular branded S710a and I'm wondering if there's anyway I could get it flashed with the standard S710a firmware, and not have to have the Cingular S710a firmware?

I called Sony Ericsson but they were being tight asses about it and said No because the S710a is exclusive to Cingular which it is not because it is also being sold unlocked.

And even if it was exclusive, I payed for it and now it's mine, there fore it's exclusive to ME now.

I am having problems replying to a text msg that was sent from an e-mail address. When i press reply, the number 36245 always comes up as the default next to the "TO:", instead of the person's e-mail address. So none of my responses ever work. Anyone know anything about this?

I read and saw in the CNET video that everytime you swivel the phone in your hand, the phone is then in the up-side down position. Is it possible to swivel the phone and get it into correct postion or do you always have to use both hands? I mean how's the swiveling working out for you guys (Owners)?, any inonveinences?

I am planning on getting unlocked SE V800. Which carrier is better, Cingular or T-Mobile to activate the phone? I have heard many bad stories about Cingular/ATT. But I know Cingular already have 3G service in few US cities and I can utilize the full capabilities of this phone, where as T-Mobile will not launch theirs 3G service until 2007?
Any suggestions and or comments would be appreciated. Thanks

First question... Is it possible to setup my hotmail account through the email section of MESSAGES. If so how?

Secondly, can you set a custom tone for your incoming text notification and also can you change the volume for the text notifications??

Third, how do i change the outside wallpaper independent of my theme or inside wallpaper.

Lastly, anything i can do about the up volume button on the outside not displaying my text while the phone is closed???

Ive been reading up on the s700 and am very close to deciding whether to buy one but theres one thing i need clearing up for me. Is it true that the 'unlimited' video recording is actually limited to about 2 mins even if you're saving to memory stick or is it actually unlimited as in record till you have no more memory s700 users please get back to me ASAP

SE may have killed their hopes for sales of the s710a by letting Cingular drag their feet. Forget the s710a...gotta have the z800 (if it ever launches in the US)

I cant seem to get my computer to recognize my phone. I download some files from sony and some others that i read about on a forum. The cable i got didnt come with a CD but it is a sony ericcson cable.

Could anyone who has the cd copy the files off the cd and email them to me please?

or link me to the correct drivers and an aplication so i can send mp3's to my phone to use them as ring tones.

which one is better s700i or 7710? and how do i transfer mp3 songs to s700i since theres no data cable included in the box!?? i need an answer so bad! LOL 🤭

I was wondering if there is a way to get pictures from the telephone, I can upload pictures using the data cable but there is no way to download from it, besides, I know there must be a way to make ring tones besides the music dj, which is pretty useless and is not very good, what about the sound recorder ( I know is horrible !!!), but what about the data transfer ???????? BT or by the DC, why is that Sony likes to make things so difficult when we love it????
Now, they've learned that with the PSP, hopefully I will be able to make it work as a phone !!!
