Apple iPhone

2.0 update won't sync and can't get the phone to restore at all. Been trying all day. What the heck.Think I'm screwed.

Went to install 2.0 update and now my phone won't work at all. Now it said it can't access iTunes store and can't even do a restore. What do I do?

Just an hour or so ago I uploaded the new 2.0 on my first generation iPhone. When I did it, it was not available under iTunes "Check for update". I did it through a stand-alone and then iTunes recognized it. Plugged my phone in a viola` I'm 2.0!

It worked for me WITHOUT any glitches. I used Firefox to download it (read the above forum for the hows and the whys)

Already downloaded some free and some paid apps from the app store -- there's some pretty cool stuff available.

Let me prefice by saying I'm not bashing anyone or starting a fight. I got to use an iphone for awhile the other day and I wasn't too impressed. I don't know what all the hype is about. I do like the icons though and I actually have a bb curve and have got the iberry theme for it--looks nice. I know the phone is fine for some people I guess I just can't understand why anyone would stand in line for it?

I wanna buy the iphone 3G without a contract

I am looking into buying an unlocked iPhone with T-mobile. I was wondering if anyone who has one can give me info on how well it works with the T-mobile network?

Does anyone have experience using the Iphone with Firmware 2.0 Beta unlocked (specifically being used on TMobile). From what I have read on this site, visual voice mail will not work on TMobile - is that correct? I am mainly interested to know if the new exchange server feature will work on an unlocked phone on TMoblie. I have been waiting for the firmware update so I can get an Iphone (I need the exchange server for my work) but want to use it on Tmobile. Thanks for any feedback.

Does anyone know if the new 3g iPhone will be able to take videos and post them directly on You Tube via the air waves, have stereo bluetooth, do copy and paste, and take memory cards?

I am an existing VZW customer and am currently under contract but I am wanting to get the Iphone. AT&T service in my area is the worse around and VZW is the best. I am wanting the IPhone to use it as a glorified Ipod Touchingly because of the camera....
I had an idea buy the iphone when it comes out for 199.99 and cancel the service a month later outside of the ETF is there anything that i would be charged? If this isnt possible any ideas on what I could do? One more thing is there a data only plan for the iphone? if so how much?

Ok so I have a I phone and I love it to death. I'm going to get the 3g when it comes out but my question is about the data plan pricing. Every one is saying that the data plan is going from 30 to 40. Well, I already pay 40 a month for unlimted data and text. So my question is am I going to pay another 10 dollars? That would really suck. 😡

Does anyone know how to access the voice mail via bluetooth? I was with VZW for 10 years and they had a voicemail number to dial into. I would assume the voicemail must have a server to dial into like any other carrier. ATT says no, unless they don't want to give it out.

Will the data services still work on the EDGE network or will it be 3G only??? Reason i ask is that I travel a decent amount, and a large number of my areas are not 3G capable... If the 3G version doesnt work on Edge there is no point in me holding out for that one

I work for AT&T and have friends at Apple Store. I am so glad I waited for second generation of Iphone. We have Blockout Dates we can take time off during June15-July 15 due to the lauch of THE NEW IPHONE... It will come in Black as well this time, which I can't wait to get. Before the end of the year, AT&T will be offer insurance on the IPhone as well.. Good new things to come. Stand by 🙂🙂

Do Not buy anything from Ivyskin. I bought a case, returned it and they refuse to refund my money. Won't answer phone or email. Threatened them with court & BBB with no avail. Have confirmation of them receiving it back. They SUCK. 😡 😡
