Apple iPhone

Not sure this has happened to anyone else A couple of times I have had my iPhone playing during shuffle mode for some reason it shuts off meaning the music stops playing then the iphone goes back to the Home Screen, after this happened the first time i went back into the iphone and just started playing the music again but the same thing happened it went right back to the home screen and shut the musci off. So What i did was Powered the phone off and started back up 5 minutes later and the problem went away, but know 2 days later and its doing it again, I have called apple and they told me to do basically the same thing i have already done, so I am stuck I dont know if it's a defected phone or if its something that happeneds to all the phones...

I've had my iPhone since the day of its arrival and I have a couple questions.

When, or should I say are we going to see a major firmware update enabling multi media messaging, and all the other things people swear this mysterious update will add and fix.

If this update isn't for real, or not in the near future I'm seriously considering going back to a good old blackberry and iPod.

my second question, if i were to switch to another phone, would I get the 2 year price or would I be paying retail. I was under the impression since we all paid retail for the iPhone that you could update to another phone at any time and get the discounts, is this true?

I do love my iPhone but lately it sends just about all my received calls right to...

Has anyone tried the 'Invisible Shield' from ShieldZone?Read a review it turned yellow after awhile and another couldn't get rid of all the bubbles after applying.

Thought I read somewhere about insurance. Anyone ever find it? Also, Any good sites for wallpaper and how do you install it? Thanks. 😲 😲

well ive bounced around between so many phones...especially within the past few months. i always returned to my iphone. so officially i have used it longer than any other phone ive had. well i messed mine up and apple replaced it (again) and with a new iphone in tow, i decided its time to give hacking a go. so i I used iNdependence, and did all the stuff. to make it short i experimented with everything and when it came down to it i noticed my signal was struggling in even the best of reception areas. and i my screen would bug out and lines of "ants" would run through... after trying everything, i reluctantly gave in and just did a full restore through itunes, which also prompted the upgrade to 1.1.4. when all was finished i noticed everthi...

Hi I am about to buy a new iphone for T-mobile. People are selling them unlocked for 650 bux online for the 16GB + shipping!?!@ Thats ridiculous considering you can go to any att store and buy the thing brand new for 500, no waiting for shipping and download software to unlock it for 40 bux, maybe cheaper. Anyway, when you buy it in the store its the lastest firmware of 1.1.4, I may buy it online if there is a better firmware or that has different features? any input is appreciated

Any BMW drivers here currently using the iphone via the optionable USB adapter. If so i would like to know what happens while you are listening to music on it and a call comes in, does it go straight to voicemail or you can pick it up just like you would be able to while listening to music on it the normal way. I am thinking about purchasing an iphone now instead of waiting for the phantom second generation that may or may not come out anytime soon. But there are a few negative things I have heard about the phone, and I was hoping those of you that own the phone can tell me if I've been misinformed or not.

1. The phone doesn't have mulit-text messages capabilities. As in, you can't send a text to more than one person at a time.
2. No text forwarding, which might be okay if it had copy and paste, but it doesn't have that either.
3. No music ringtones. The bluetooth is only for earpieces. Really? Apple markets this as such an innovation but you can't even get music ringtones? Are we back to polyphonic?
4. Can you access any email server? As in...

I love this phone and i have about 3 months..But, i don't know why apple wont add the best and most great programs as, MMS, 3G, Copy/past, GPS..You know? im sure if we see all this programs on iphone, we will pay 700-800, because now the price is 399.00 but missing allot of great programs from ipone. when i saw update on my screen 3 days ago 1.1.4, i start happy and i was thinking apple want add some of great program, but after update i can say, i never feel any changes on my iphone..Today is 2008, and 99% phones has that all programs, mms, 3g, GPS and more..But one of the popular phone, as Iphone, missing those programs, and we want ask WHY ? Love to get this phone, but wouldn't touch it without voice dialing. What the hell is Apple thinking? Want to compete with RIM but even they have it. Was thinking of getting it and using ATT Voice Command but you still have to pick up phone and dial '*8'. Ticket time - no thanks. Also heard from Apple no 're-dial' from bluetooth headset, no speed dial and no picture messaging. Pretty crappy for a $400 phone. 😕 😕

Couple things:

Advantages / disadvantages to the 16g vs. 8? Noticeable differences?

Also, worthwhile to get the .4 version? What are the differences to be aware of in the versions?

Hi, I was away from my home computer, which has itunes on it, and wanted to get a picture onto my phone. Basically I want to asign it to a contact, but I can't drag it to my phone. Is there anyway to get a pic from your email into the picture folder??? or onto the phone at all for use?

Just got a new iphone. I am kind of disappointed that there is no "to do list" manager like in all palm OS systems. I am completely dependent on that program and would not have bought an iphone had I know it did not have one. Is there any third party apps out there similar to one on palm pilots?

If I purchase an Iphone off of say,ebay, could I just insert my sim card and be on my way if it was unlcoked? 😕 Thanks!

If you are using a bluetooth headset & the phone is locked or in sleep mode, can you answer a call just by tapping the answer button on the headset, or must you unlock the phone first?
