Apple iPhone

I know Apple will have applications ready via itunes at the end of this month. Trust me! The SDK has already been sent to specific companies.

Furthermore don't believe the hype on the whole 3G stuff. 3G is still not that faster than Edge. The reason is that when you type in a page like apple.com or the new york times, it takes a while either on 3G or Edge to download pages with lots of info. This hold true for desktops and laptops. It also depends on the cellphone browser as well.

In my opinion apple should give the iphone 4G technology which is already being implemented as we speak. Also since AT&T just took wi-fi services for 7,000 Starbucks locations the possibilities for the iphone just got better. The only thing is that don't be...

Could someone please give me an honest answer. Which Mobile technology is superior, CDMA or GSM? I am thinking of trying the IPhone but a little hesitant because of AT&T. I have been with Verizon for several years and must say I love the voice quality and have never had any issues. I welcome your responses.

Hey, I love the catching I phone "theme" music they play during the I-phone commercials. As sad as it sounds, I was going to try to make it a ringtone. Does anyone know of any place I can download it at? I've looked on iTunes, but I haven't really had any success. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have an ANR plan working for an authorized retailer, and as many know we are not allowed to have an iphone on our account, especially when our rep has mentioned that AT&T has been actively auditing ANR accounts and "fixing" them down if they show an iPhone being used.

Now I have heard that if you unlock the iPhone so that it does not require activation through iTunes, that everything "could" be O.K.

So my question is, what is the best way to unlock the iPhone since I am not looking to use it on any other network, just use it without having to activiate it using iTunes.

I updated my iPhone but I can't readily tell what the updates are. Nothing that I can see that's obvious. Maybe getting it ready for the 3rd party apps? Maybe some back end issues?

I went to our local corporate AT&T store the other day, and the person said the speed or whatever is not up to AT&T's standards, so they aren't carrying it locally.

Hello. Just got my new I-Phone. Need some help protecting it. Need a good belt holster. And is there one that will allow the use of one of those rubber skins? Or does anybody have a better idea to carry it safely on my belt?

Question.....I have a Iphone i bought off this guy. It was unopened and i bought it for about $70. Well I talked to my friend today who works for at&t and he said the only way to hook it up on prepaid is the plan which is 69.99 for 650 mins and then u have to pay an extra $20 for unltd internet. Is this true? I wanted to hook it up but thats a lot of money.

I heard a rumor that there was going to be a new iphone out within the next two months. Any truth to that?

I've been w/ AT&T (and it's various other versions) for over 10 years. I was briefly on Sprint PCS, but it was a disaster. My phone didn't work inside buildings, including my home, and since I do not have a land line, this was unacceptable. I ported back to AT&T less than a month later.

Last June I purchased a brand new N75 at full price so that I wouldn't have to renew my contract. But I'm about to throw this Nokia against the wall; it has been nothing but trouble since day 1. That's another story for another Forum though.

How does this work? Developers are going to build apps and submit them to apple to approve and release to the public via apple.com? Or are these apps going to be built and we can just blindly download them from various places on the web?

Also, what kinds of apps is everyone expecting? Anything from Slingbox / Slingmedia in the works?

I have a 16GB iphone and I am happy as can be. The thing that sucks is all of the comments about the next generation iphone. If it comes out tomorrow or the next month, or year i really don't care. I will still be happy wiith what I got. Many people cannot afford an iphone at all. We have war, poverty, and racism. When is the next war going to end? When will global hunger stop? These are the questions you should be thinking about instead of the next gen iphone. Use your energy for something positive. Just my thoughts!
