Samsung UpStage M620
Sprint Music Manager for MAC?
Does anyone know if the Sprint Music Manager has a release for MAC OS? CD only has Windows support. Sprint rep said MAC version was available for download. Can't find on their site.

upstage on ebay: invalid ESN
Basically, a seller sold me a Upstage with an invalid ESN. Huge ordeal. $260 bucks gone.
I just want to make this clear: I can no way possibly ever made this work, or even get Samsung or Sprint to fix this problem? Do I really just have one option of "ruining" this guy's ebay store, making a fraud claim?
Just wanted to know if anyone knew something I don't.

been playing with it
and gotta say it's a nice phone
and here r my questions
i've tried to transfer the movin images(gif format n etc.)
it transfers but it seems the phone can't read it...so how can i make it read the moving images to set it as the background n etc.
that was my first question
and the 2nd one is
i've looked thru the forum to figure out how to set mp3 ringtones
but STILL CAN'T DO IT!!!
got an idea that i should cut song and upload n stuff but i need more detail plz
how do i cut song?
and how do i use the uploadin thing the rumkin site
3rd question is the video files
where should i drag it to?
n the limit is?
ty for reading n i wanna hab more fun with this phone~

where is the serial number located on the phone? ive been trying to get it on with sprint but i cant find it, and i got the phone off the internet but not through sprint, someone help me out pleaseeeeee

I just received an email from sprint.com says the phone is "on sale" for 149.99 with 2 years new activation.

speakerphone/mic set
Okay, I have probably a silly question, but hey, I'm tired and am sick of looking in the wrong places for answers.
I had a customer come in today and we are trying to figure out how to use the mic plug in. Basically, our upstage kit came with what looks to be a handsfree speaker. if that's the case, then where the heck are the ear buds? Does anybody know what I'm talking about and can anybody help me figure out how to use it??
Good news, though, I might get her to trade phones with me....woohoo...upstage here I come!

UpStage ressurected Sprint????
I really think the UpStage M620 gave Sprint a lift from their downfall. Atleast a temporary lift until the next big hit. This is a great phone from Sprint!!

So, with the big screen on the back, and the number keys on the front, how is web browsing, data entry and the likes going to work? Is there a softkey keyboard or something?

Recording longer than 1 minute
Some reviews state that you can't record longer than a minute. Is there any way to get around this limitation? I want to record to SD card sometimes for longer than 1 hr.

Software fix... PLEASE READ
I work for a sprint retail store and reported some of these problems (ascending volume, power save mode bug, etc) to the Samsung rep. He forwarded my email to someone who WORKS FOR SAMSUNG. We talked and he said that the ascending volume is something that all new samsungs will have. I told him that it is quite an inconvenience and he told me that since no one else has complained about it, and since there were not massive returns of this phone due to this... a fix would NOT be included in the software update (which he said is coming VERY soon btw). So if these are problems for you... please be sure to report it to sprint and make sure they take note of this so that it can be solved in the upcoming update.

streaming non-Sprint internet radio
Is it possible to stream non-Sprint internet radio stations on this phone?
For example, I'd envision browsing to http://www.shoutcast.com, picking a station and hitting the playlist url to stream music. My Palm700p has a client that automatically kicks off after the web browser connects to a pls link.

Ringtone question
I know that the callers name is spoken while listening to music on a bluetooth headset but can you have the callers name announced as your normal ringtone?

In regards to the battery wallet, etc.
On your page regarding the phone call capability, if you were to rip the front flap of the battery wallet off and something were to happen to it, you would not be able to get it replaced. Most techs will claim this as physical damage. So, if this is something you are looking to do, just keep in mind that you may have to take responsibility and buy a replacement battery wallet if yours fails.
Also, in regards to the info sticker on the phone. I'm sure everyone will take this off. I would too, but please, please stick it to the battery side of the wallet. This way if your screen breaks and you need to get it serviced, the tech will still be able to scan the serial number on the sticker to be able to work on it.

I have a few questions about this phone. Thanks for any help.
1. Can you set mp3's from your computer as ringtones? If so how?
2.Can you change the background and menu options on the mp3 side of the phone?
3. I know that if you are listening to music through bluetooth the name of the caller is announced can you have this as your regular ringtone like you can with the Katana?

Thinking about getting the Upstage since the Katana II sounds disappointing.
I have two questions:
1- Is the text messages hard to read on such a small screen?
2- What is the issue with the ringers? Im not sure I understand some of the cons regarding the ringers.
