Voice dial, digit dial
đ
Can anyone let me know if the V9m can record conversations during the call and is the voice dial software actual voice recognition with digit dial or is it the type you need to add a voice tag to each of your contacts?
Thanks for the help.

Micro SD Card Not Always Recognized
My micro SD card (SanDisk -2g) is *sometimes* not recognized by my v9m (Verizon). Even though it usually works, and I've stored may phone photos and phone videos on it, sometimes it disappears from the phone memory. This in turn causes the camera not to load, since it is set to store the pics on the card, and it can't find it.
Taking the disk out and re-inserting it doesn't help. Neither does powering down the phone and 'rebooting' it. It will just magically re-appear sometimes, and I can't connect that to anything I've done.
Does anyone have any ideas or info about this? Thanks!

WEAK BATTERY BX40 with more mAh?
I have/love my crystal case for my V9M. Therefore I am unable to get the extended battery with the extended battery door cover. Does anyone know if they make a BX40(OEM) size battery that has more mAH (juice) to give me a few more hours?

Voice Dialing-why is it do difficult?
I just purchased the v9m through Verizon.
I had the original pink razr for the past 2 years.
When I purchased my original razr, I couldn't believe how annoying the voice dialing feature was, so I never used it.
I mean, you have to have total conversation with the phone before it makes your call and most of the time it doesn't understand you.
I was never sure if this was a Motorola issue or part of Verizon's interface.
My boyfriend has a Nokia through Verizon and he was able to use his own voice to record his contacts. And all he has to do is say the persons name and it dials.
Since it's been 2 years with the Nokia, he just got a Motorola also (I forget which model) and now he's stuck with the same voice dialing that I've dealt with f...

Phonebook storing in car bluetooth?
HI! I have a Lexus and I am thinking of purchasing the v9m. Problem is I'm worried that it won't be able to transfer the phone book into the car bluetooth storage. I have a krzr and that won't allow me to use the phonebook in the car. I went to the Verizon store today to look at the v9m and I do not see anywhere where it says transfer using bluetooth like my Motorola Q did. HOWEVER, the Lexus website says that it will work with the Lexus bluetooth and the V9m. Anyone else have a lexus and this phone? Does it work? I can't even get the numbers to store manually when I try.

sprint and bluetooth
i have a question about the sprint Razr2. Can you bluetooth a ringer or picture file (anything other than a contact) to and from this phone? if so does it work with other carriers (like to and from verizon or at&t)?
os upgrade???
is it possible to upgrade the os on this phone? the old motorola sprint razr v3m platform is terrible. i want the linux one, âšī¸ i want to know though, if it has the same lag when trying to 1. delete more than 200 text messages at one time 2. receive texts without my phone freezing 3. use the external sprint tv key without having to take battery out and put it back in.
-my phone is seriously freezing up like crazy and i'm worried that its only going to get worse. and i've only had the phone for a week! can anyone helpo???
Farewell RAZR V9m!
one of the best phones I've had. WAY WAY WAY better than the V3m I had. The only bad things about it was the battery and that there is not a power save mode on such a battery consuming-dual screen havin- beast. lol
it doesnt lag like the V3m. but it does lag on the MUSIC PLAYER application. camera was good but i didnt like how you cannot disable the SNAPSHOT sound fx. i actually was recording in a studio and i took a pic and you can hear the APPLE BITE effect in the track, lol.
overall awesome phone, maybe not for the price

Camera not loading
Does anyone have insight into why my camera doesn't load about 1/2 the time? It gets about 3/4 the way there, then doesn't finish loading. Even power down/up, and even taking out battery won't fix it. Also, haven't figured out why it works when it does work. (v9m, Verizon)
Bluetooth in Car with V9M?
I am buying a new car and contemplating (STILL!) the choice of either the v9m or waiting for the lg prada /vx10000. The car has bluetooth in it. Will any of these phones work in it? I had heard people complain that certain phones do not and I neglected to ask the car dealer. Since they are not open on Sunday , I thought I'd post it here.

Verizon reps--no knowledge of future V9m colors?
I have been patiently waiting for either the price of the v9m to drop and/or different colors come out in it. I have heard from a few people on these forums that there are other colors but definately not before Christmas or even before January. ANYONE have any info on this? Thanks! đ

Can I disable the touch screen vibration ?
I figure the vibration from the touch screen has got to suck up a lot of juice. Is there anyway to disable it. If all I have on the outer screen is a clock, that would be just fine with me.

Motorola RAZR2 V9m vs. LG VX-8700 (Verizon Wireless)
I've narrowed my choices to these 2 models and have the following comments and questions:
1. The V9m is a LARGE phone. Have any users found it to be too bulky?
2. The font on the v9m seems small and is unadjustable (vs. 3 adjustable fonts on the VX-8700). Have any V9m users found the text to be too small (especially those that may need reading glasses)?
3. Reviews for call clarity and signal strength have been favorable for both models. Has anyone on here done a side by side comparison of one vs. the other? I've read reviews that both sound more like landlines than mobile phones.
4. The VX-9700 SAR rating is 60% higher than that of the V9m (1.13 vs. 0.71). All things being equal, why take the chance, right?
5. Some reviewers ...

Question?
How do you reset the settings on the razr v9m? How do you do a hard reset? When I go to settings & tools, there is no option to reset settings. Also is there any way to reset the phone so it will say activation required just like a new phone? I am selling my phone and want everything cleared out.
Thanks
