8130 on Sprint with PTT or Q-Chat as it's called
I also see that the curve and the HTC touch have PTT buttons. It would be nice to see Q-Chat on all these phones so there's actually choice when it comes to smart phones.
For many of us, we have to keep PTT in our phones which seriously limits us to our choices. It's very lonly feeling walking buy a Verizon Kiosk look at all those groovy phones and I'm stuck with 3 year old technology.
Earpiece Volume Low
1. My volume in my earpiece seems low. I have adjusted all the settings in the menus, but it still seems low. I am coming from a Chocolate 8550 and that volume was extremely loud. Am I expecting too much from the pearl volume?
2. How do I specify which email address to use when forwarding an email to someone in my contacts list who has more than one email address (home vs. work).
The answers are probably hidden deep in the menus somewhere. The learning curve for the pearl is steep if this is your first Blackberry. I love it.
Thanks in advance...

Should I get one?
I'm 21 years old in a business program at an undergraduate university. Everyone has Blackberries. I feel left out. I'll be entering the working world in May. I get lots of e-mails, but a lot of them are unimportant and aren't necessary to have right when they arrive. I like gadgets.
The problem is the cost of the phone + the monthly cost of the data plan. Why I'm asking is because (yes, you can make fun) my dad pays my phone bill, and if I should get one, I need to present a good argument as to why.
I'm unsure, so I was wondering pros and cons from you all, who seem to be experts. If I don't get the Blackberry, I'll probably either opt for the LG VX-9400 or the Voyager.
Thanks in advance!

Blackberry Pearl Questions
I posted this in the main forum but didnt receive any answers...
I am seriously considering the pearl. It would be my first smartphone and I have a few questions:
1) I know backup assistant wouldnt work but is there a way to get the contacts off my phone and into the pearl?
2) If you have multiple email accounts, do they all show up in one inbox, under "messages", or would you have multiple inboxes?
3) Can the pearl open PDF attachments in addition to MS word and excel?
4) Using BIS, would your POP mail sync with outlook, or would it be similar to using "mobile email" on a "dumbphone", meaning that for example, if I send an email from my blackberry, would it show up in my sent mail in outlook?
Thanks for you h...
